Netflix hardly involves in the production of movies like paramount, 20th fox century et al.

They just distribute the movies when they are already made.,movie B movies and independent ones.

Most Netflix originals are also acquired not produced by them.

A " Netflix Original " is content that is produced, co-produced, or distributed by Netflix exclusively on their services. - Source

Netflix fund their original programming (TV shows and movies alike) by ordering and providing money upfront to the relevant producing companies they signed contracts with. Sometimes, they'd pitch in production-wise. After the show and movies are ready, since it's Netflix's by contract, they reserve the sole right to distribute.

Now, note that this is different from paying for streaming rights for movies and shows they weren't involved at all in in the productions.

The Disaster Artist- 8.5/10.

This movie is so crazily creative. I was actually expecting the movie to the about the making of the Oscar award winning movie, but instead what I got was so cringeworthy, I was mesmerised. Fantastic and brilliant, especially when you remember the movie is a true life story cheesy

Came here to rant.why is it that Netflix movies are so annoying and uninteresting. I end up been very annoyed after every movie I watch that they produced.from annihilation (very senseless movie) to anon(gosh) ,Ibiza(no storyline) I just wonder why they spend money on annoying script. The kissing booth was okay though.
End of rant.

Hostiles (2017) a western that featured:Christian Bale and the crazy chick from gone girl. The movie Is brutal;still very good though. 8/10.

Gringo (2018) a black comedy mixed with crime that featured:David oyelowo and Charlize Theron. Very very good surprised it didn't do so well. David Oyelowo really thick naija accent made the movie for me. 9/10.

bro the movie is above average at least better than annihilation..we all know horror and thriller get 7 and above and the production team matters and I think the production killed gringo...but the movie deserves more than 6.5 av not seen adrift I have it though Sam clafin movies are always touching will need to take my time to see the movie
