A fundamental change to the police can only be via constitutional amendment. This endeavor is merely cosmetic |

SolutionMee:don't worry... you will be a victim of these police harassment in a way you will never believe. I am pretty sure that the aluu 4 thought same too when innocent lives were killed as they watch from their TV screens and mobile phones, little did they know that one day, it will be their turn. |

This is beautiful, if goes and continues like then there is hope in Nigeria. My VP, it you can stand on this, you should equally monitor this that is happening as the evil politician are Distorting the employment that is going on in DPR by fielding their fail or pass children against merit list. VP, this is an acid test that you have to pass today. |

Corrinthians:Baba, take it easy with these daft IPIGs & extremely dumb Jonathan sycophants na! ![]() They want to do divide & rule by claiming Osinbaba is better than Buhari, & when you tell them that at least the APC can boast of such a wonderful man & that in 1 week Osinbaba has done way better than what the useless weak daft buffoon from Otuoke did in 6 years, they begin to get angry! ![]() Do you have any idea what their problem is? ![]() |

I have never been in doubt that Osinbajo, being of the ACN extraction which is the bastion of restructuring within the APC, will not let any splinter opportunity to restructure any sector slip by. The man's role in the Lagos State's Government quest to clarify LGA creation powers was the first hint to his dogged commitment to restructuring. The modular refineries idea which was almost entirely his is another evidence. This latest one about decentralization of the police further lends credence to his commitment to it despite the CPC wing of the APC's aversion. Unfortunately the man from Otuoke whose region is hardest hit by this unproductive structure spent all his six years in power arguing that Nigeria's problem had nothing to do with structure but only corruption. |

I hope that now that the presidency has finally agreed to "state policing" States will actually be able to pay these extra recurrent expenditure that will be added to their budget. States like Lagos will be able to cope as they've had a similar structure before now. |

Thank God. The killings that took place have been silenced by the efforts of PMB and the security forces. Soon this phase of killings shall be a thing of the past, infact it has past. Thanks to the relentless prayers of Nigerians, the efforts of the security forces and the commitment of PMB to deal with insecurity at all cost. |

As much as we may all laud this move, yet I have my reservation on this. This will turn the governors to some sort of gods in their respective territories. Needless to say that they are already living like emperors right now. These governors will become something else. |
