It has nothing to do them 'digging' or not. If he lies, he opens himself up to unnecessary risks especially if he intends to get married again. What if she finds out in future that he has relocated/or remarried and writes IRCC with evidence that they are still married; what happens then.

My advice is that he makes a last ditch effort to reconcile and if it doesn't work out then and only then he can commence divorce proceedings.

But please he shouldn't lie about his marital status.

Cheers

Hello Onyeenyeh,

The matter reach to worry. We are in the same boat. I submitted on the 29th of July and I never pass medical too. When I saw your post, I went to check my account and I saw that the Background Check changed to Not Applicable. I decided to check up things online and I discovered that we are in stage NA1.

You can read up more using the link below. As we all say; IT WILL END IN PRAISE

Thanks. I did mine at the Children's practice. Hopefully, we get our medicals passed in this coming week.

Smh..... Someone's Facebook and LinkedIn profiles were checked in one instance shared here.
You don't work with CIC and don't know the extent to their background checks. If you choose to misrepresent your facts, please feel free but don't go advising someone to do same.

Hi, how did you go about your cousin living with you, with reference to your post here
https://www.nairaland.com/2624318/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/475#56892326

"3. I have a three year old cousin who lives with me. Is there any possibility of including him in my application?"

Please can you share for learning purposes?

Hi, I ended up applying without him. I plan on doing a legal adoption and sponsoring him thereafter.

Her ego will not allow it. She has tried severally to bring me down just to get me to beg.

Anyway, thanks

Honestly I wish you could go beg whether your mind is in a begging mood or not, so you don't have to go through the wahala of legal separation or divorce.

She might stand in the way of the guy if she finds out his intentions. Heaven hath not fury like a woman's scorn.

If age is not a problem, seek legal divorce and proceed with your application

My wife is the primary applicant, and she's already done her document verification with WES. Will I also need to do it? We can see on the CIC page that spouse verification is listed as mandatory rather than compulsory and while it will get us a few more points, we don't particularly need it.

Hi Everyone,

Please I have a question o. I have submitted my application and I just remembered I omitted something in my travel history. While going through my passport I found a stamp I got in Panama. My flight went through Panama, but instead of sitting at the airport for about 20hrs, I decided to enter the country and they stamped my passport.

Do you think this omission will have any effect on my application? or should raise a CSE? Thanks

Its a brother jare.

So there is no way out other than going through divorce?

There should be o.

Yes, there is another way.

Get her to do medical and PCC, then provide POF for both of you while she remains unaccomanying.

If you've the required CRS score that can land you ITA, no need to evaluate your degrees or write IELTS.

think you should fast track your divorce documents or better still apply as a single/never married. IMO

You're encouraging misrepresentation? Please ignore this advice. It's a ground for inadmissibility if caught.

My Ielts exam today was full of drama grin grin
...I started experiencing rumbling bowels (purging) overnight, and I couldn't place the bad food I ate (jeun jeun...lol grin). I thought it was going to get better before this morning's exam. LOL... It only got worse, I stood from the exam to go to toilet about 7 times between the end of listening and during reading tests. Thank goodness I had practiced managing my time in the exam, else I wouldn't have finished the reading test with all their long comprehensions!
Finally, one of the exam assistants decided to pity my condition by giving me flagyl (I asked her number after test to thank her later, she no gree citing BC policy), God bless her for me.
That was how my exam went oh!

I pray and am hopeful the result will come out very well!

...so if you wrote your IELTS in Port -Harcourt today, I am that guy who delayed the start of reading test and kept going out intermittently during the exam.
It shall end in praise! grin grin grin

I can only imagine what you went through.Thank God it went well.My advice to all others seeking to take the IELTS exam, is to be very conscious of what they eat and drink, days leading up to the exam.

I have a friend who alleged he didn't do so well in the exam due to incessant pressure to use the WC, resulting from high fluid intake hours before his exam commenced.

Let's take note.

How did I miss out the advise initially? ...that was the intention behind the sermon. Thank you @luffhaki for noting that. It's very important we watch what we eat days leading to the exams!

In addition to some of the good advice you've got here. You can either get a separation order from the courts in Nigeria. Or you could go ahead with a separation affidavit but you'll have to give IRCC an undertaking that you won't ever sponsor your spouse in the future. That way, they'll dispense with her medicals.
Canada visa forum has lots of information on your situation. Please check it out.
