How long did she wait before going to the hospital.if she just recently miscarried the pt will still be negative and scan will be seeing remnants from the miscarriage.

Where did she get positive report from before. Is it hospital or home test .was it blood or urine?

Do it if your doctor asked u to do it or is it your mother or midwife u are listening to? Or are they the one in charge? Let your doctor do his work except you don't trust him

doctors re saying i have to wait two weeks after the edd. i feel that if dey calculate from first day of lmp dey cld b wrong cos i conceived 11 day later, abeg make una help me calculate from 16th nov which date cld b d edd. plus rem me in prayers. wishing all of us a stress free delivery IN Jesus Name

EDD is basically calculated using LMP. Scan will always give varying dates because it is calculated using some dimensions( size of the head, length of Fermur and other things like that; so depending on baby's size you have different dates) Doctors don't rely on scan dates except when the woman doesn't know her LMP but the scan date used in this case is the dating scan at less than 12 weeks of pregnancy. So stick to the date given by the doctor which was calculated using LMP.

This is currently happening to a frnd...she was pregnant nd her Gynae confirmed it wit a TVS three times. She suddenly started spotting nd bed rest was advised, after a wk or so, the spotting stopped nd d Dr told her to do abdominopelvic scan. She did it nd nothing was seen in the womb. Infact, no traces of conception sef.

In my 3rd trimester too, just finished taking cefuroxime (tribinat) for upper respiratory tract infection(cough precisely) don't know about it for protein in the urine though and my baby's doing well to the glory of God and kicking my bladder like no man's business.
My OBGYN said it is safe in pregnancy esp 3rd trimester, I believe him but trusted God and took it.

d positive test was from hospital when she registered for ante_natal, scan is not seeing anything even remnants was not showing but till now she said she can feel d baby

Ur due date is 4/ 12/18 according to LMP . scans result may varies buh d most accurate is d one calculated using LMP n its usually +/- 2 weeks

i arrived at the date by +2weeks after edd. the first scan i did gave me 6th aug, second scan 21st july nd 3rd scan 31st july even wen i went for it on 1st aug. pls 6th nov is the first day of the lmp, thanks for helping me calculate.
