ROI in Treasury bill is low, though with zero risk but I prefer other investment with high returns though with minimal risk

But T-Bill is better if you have fund that you don't need for the moment

Exactly ,it is good for idle funds but not the best in terms of returns. Imagine buying T bills 500k and you are paid upront profit of less than 20k because you bought it for three months. Investing it in a business that you know will be far from that 20k.

That's the first thing that came to my mind

Our economists should please come and translate the fiscal lingo
Cost of borrowing has gone down, and hence, persons, corporate bodies, institutions can access more credits-more money running after investment so treasury bill rate will increase

Very interesting topic about the economy and only a few are understanding this, you don't even have to be a banker, accountant or economist to know what is being expressed here

But if it's Linda Ikeji, Saraki vs Oshiomole vs Buhari, or BBnaija, we will all raise our heads and be shouting

Shalom!

Pls I'm really interested in treasury bills. If for example I sell treasury bills worth 1million how much will I expect in return?? Would visit my bank on Monday to make more enquiries.

Treasury bill is better for institutional investors. Otherwise, it is not worth the effort for individual investors with meagre resources because low risk level investments yield minimal returns.

Why would someone tie down N2m in Treasury bill?

N.B: I am not a big fan of banks. I only see a bank as a clearing house.

Chaiii!!!! See Treasury bills rate. Rubbish.

It's better to go trade on a small scale level than falling for these depressing rates. By this time last year rates were at around 14% to 16%. While Mutual funds was 18%. These current rates are depressing.
