Maybe that's when I can afford flagship every year

So you think flashing a custom ROM switches your device into a flagship grade presently?

That's one of the problems of Nigerian... Always afraid to take risk just because of the FAILURE. May be we have different mindset anyway like someone like always want to learn and test every new thing out there same as some other people but there will always be some antagonist that do everything to sha make sure that you no do am

There's nothing new under the sun including modding & tweaking of smartphone. Most folks you see here have been there, done that. In fact when you've got more important things to do, constantly rejigging your phone just to change how it looks or add marginally negligible features will be the least of your problems.

Someone asked a question earlier which you pretend not to see so I'll ask once one. When you've rallied people to start modding & tweaking their devices & the noobs start bricking their phones, will you be here to help them sort their issues out?

Finally joined the Xiaomi finally through Protein0 yesterday. Got Xiaomi Max 3 although some glitchtes occurred in the course of delivery but it was sorted.

Such a wonderful man he is and really worth dealing with him ALWAYS.

Thanks bro.

is tweaking really a "risk" as portrayed by him?
It is a risk for those who are struggling with it, which is no problem but making it a yardstick for measuring risk taking potential is just comical.
Ask him how he felt when he briked his phone na grin. Even if there are gurus around to rescue other potential "bricklanders" like him, does the ephemeral stress of the rescue mission worth it? Maybe for me sha cool

Lolz... I don't need to help anyone because goggle is there for everyone. Where did I state it that you don't have important things to do in life instead of tweaking your phone? I think next time you need to think very well before you post a reply?

As u use ur device do experiment, no body dey vex for u na. D problem once again bsay u easily generalise. Who nr know now go think say na only u dey take risk, but if everybody open mouth talk wetin dem don do with their devices here u sef go surprise. Abeg concerning risks , I get one new investment wen I one embark on, hope u ready to risk ur life savings there?

Just do whatever you like with your device without trying to make others look bad or as if they are in the dark.

I didn't generalized anything neither have I done any special experiment, I didn't even intend to say all this things before not until I what the other guy said 1st. The thing is this things are one of the reasons why this thread was created, why is it some people are always of negative opinion whenever a new user show interest in such?

You keep contradicting yourself but why you carry this matter for head? The super modders on this thread have been doing their stuffs with literally no noise but you have been on this since some days ago with no end in sight.

How is xiaomi to be blamed if you can't afford the said flagships from the "recognized phone manufacturers" as you seem angry with xiaomi for putting "annoying ads" on your phone.

Camera is not its perks, but the battery is just enough for the day. The sd 450 and tge 720p are energy savers. cool
For me it's worth it. I see no reason to change currently. Serves the purpose why I got it in the first place cool

Yeah, but my concern is about the time it would take to arrive. People here don't know much about Xiaomi products. We have our various online stores, but most of them don't have the phone. I think only AliExpress and Jumia have it for now.

Would like to order via AliExpress as their price is far cheaper than that of Jumia. But I'm concerned about the time it would take to arrive
Xiaomi has some silent users in Ghana, and I will be becoming a proud owner of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 tomorrow. I ordered it from Aliexpress on 19/07 and got called from the post office on 3/08.
