Perfectly average. I could not agree more. Skyscraper is just a simple action movie. It was entertaining but also very predictable.

People are different. Some people do not like science fiction albeit being an unpopular opinion.

However, science fiction remains the most creative genre of movies (or literary work). It takes a look at what science and human development could look like in the future.

To prove that science fiction remains creative, one needs to look at movies like inception, the matrix and interstellar. The development of these movies required so much philosophical and scientific thought. Inception required the scientific understanding of dreams (lucid dreams, REM sleep etc). The matrix required a lot of philosophical thoughts on existence and the future of man and machine. The development of interstellar required a lot of physicists theories on space and time.




Annihilation was a great movie for science fiction fans. The plot was a simple mystery that kept unraveling- a twilight zone where things were just out of place until it was revealed that things were combining at a molecular level due to the refraction of DNA in the zone.

No, not yet. But once I read it was an average movie with no wowing effect, there was no need of waiting for the Blu-ray. Average movies are not worth that wait. I deleted the file after watching it. It's a not memorable movie.

Even if one despises a genre, like how I despise 99% of Telenovelas, it's very shocking and appalling to call Infinity War a NONSENSE movie. Due to differing choices, it's understandable to not be impressed by Avengers, or even call it average [it sounds absurd, true, but understandable], but saying it's a NONSENSE movie transcends all human reasoning. Sci-fi genre is a very educative genre and composed of top notch ingenuity, why'd one hate that genre?
