FirstCounsel:That part of the expressway (Warewa) is in Ogun state, yet it's the fire service from Lagos that is taking care of the situation, despite the fact that there is a mini fire station in Isheri (doubt if it still functions tho). I don't see why oil companies and merchants who make profit from the most lucrative industry in Nigeria should not be made to check their oil tankers from time to time. If we have to ban importation of overused trucks too, let's do it. They don't even check those tankers for safety and regulatory purposes. That is supposed to be the target of law enforcement officers instead of vicitimizing harmless car owners that struggled to buy a tiny car and put it on the road. 2 Likes |
