The fuel Tankers, apart from being owned by Powerful individuals who believe they are above the laws of this country, are also holding the Govt by the jagular seeing that they can threaten crisis on any govt tha tdares them otherwise, how do you explain a sotuation where after many many deaths, laws were passed restricting the movement of fuel-laden tankers to certain hours of the night, yet you see them everywhere in broad daylight, carrying fuel and on our roads (with the ever present danger of mass killing!), yet our security operators (Police, DSS, Soldiers, Civil Defense, e.t.c) JUST WATCH AND DO NOTHING?

LAWLESNESS HAS BECOME A WAY OF LIFE IN NIGERIA.

NB: this is not about Buhari or PDP or some usual nonsence nairalanders argue about but kudos to LASEMA

Human lives are of little value in this part of the world, that's why.

I don't see why oil companies and merchants who make profit from the most lucrative industry in Nigeria should not be made to check their oil tankers from time to time. If we have to ban importation of overused trucks too, let's do it. They don't even check those tankers for safety and regulatory purposes.

That is supposed to be the target of law enforcement officers instead of vicitimizing harmless harmless car owners that struggled to buy a tiny car and put it on the road.

That part of the expressway (Warewa) is in Ogun state, yet it's the fire service from Lagos that is taking care of the situation, despite the fact that there is a mini fire station in Isheri (doubt if it still functions tho). Ogun State Government is just very disappointing despite the many spill over benefits the state enjoys from Lagos.
don't mind the yeye Ogun state,, if Lagos state want to acquire the area now it's then they will be shouting no no,,,

I ve been on that road since 10:00am. To commute between 7-up to berger took 3 hours.

Thank God for Google Maps. Had to take Ikorodu to exit Lagos. Better to be moving than be a sitting duck in the hold up.
