Hi peeps, I'm thinking of changing my car Honda to a better budget efficient car. Ordinary I would love to go for a Toyota but my budget right now can't afford that. I'm thinking of going for nissan altima 2001 model, but I rarely know much about the car especially its maintenance cost and how fuel efficient it is. I will appreciate an honest review of it. Thank you.

It's a good fuel efficient car.i have using one since 2014.You need to pay good attention to the gear oil and engine oils.Dont change mechanics anyhow,stay with a good one.Beware,dont tamper with the wires in your own,get a good rewire who knows his onions!I gave been enjoying mine with powerful BOSE music+ BOSE speakers!!

Why on earth would one go from Honda to Nissan? Stick with your Honda.it doesn't get much more efficient than that.

If there is need to change I will advice you to go for QR25 engine but you must ensure that you will have good technician that can handle it,don't buy Nigeria used if not u will be going from one workshop to another and changing different components from IPDM to ECU.it is a good car to drive.Regards

Really, the Honda isn't that fuel efficient, also I get really worried seeing most of the model having shaft issues at unexpected points. I just believe it is time to move on from Honda.

Why not forget about style and go for a corolla 2001? Its very fuel efficient and easy to fix with no electrical nightmares moreover, a 17 year old Nissan may be plaqued with a myriad of electrical faults.

Sincerely, i love Toyota, but like I said earlier in the post, I'm constraint with cash. The Lowest price i got for the corrola is 600, which is above my budget of 500.

If your Honda is guzzling gas, someone messed it up. As far as suspension, you're in Nigeria and at least the Honda parts are readily available.

Honda is one of the most fuel efficient cars especially in the older models you are talking about. Fix yours or get a new Honda or you'll go from front pan to fire.

Bro u cant be on a budget and choose Nissan. Make you no frustrate abeg. Nissans are better cars to me than toyota but cant withstand abuse as Toyotas. I love there sporty styling and interiors. Its stubborn but if u give it what it wants it never spoils

Nissans look nice but are crap cars. If I tell you the number of times something broke or fell off during a new car test drive for a Nissan when I sold cars for a dealer in Houston! I worked for the Toyota next door and used to love to cross over to people looking at Nissans and ask to go on a ride with them. Something would almost always break and then guess where I'd take them after the test drive

More effort is put into infiniti as their luxury brand than Nissan and they've improved in recent years but the older models, nope. Especially when Nissan owned partnered with Ford? Hell no!
