I don't like Governor Ajimobi of Oyo State for anything. I don't like the way he talks, he has mouth ulcer. This is personal to me. So nobody can fault that. Neither do I appreciate APC government. My hatred for them is because of the government at the centre. Buhari and his lakeys to me are bunch of law breakers. They don't respect the law. Many examples can be cited to bulttress my position.

I am writing this not because I am an apologee of PDP. People's Democratic Party has not really impressed me and those that belong to my school of thought especially former president Goodluck Jonathan's regime. I am aware that Nigeria was in a state of quargmare when Jonathan was there, that necessitated the paradigm shift to PMB. The togar of change did not see the light of the day neither did they fulfill their campaign promises.

Not that I am deviating from the subject matter, I am saying this because I want you to understand the background in which I will be cogitating.

Yinka Ayefele's music house is not the only building in Ibadan that was demolished as a result of the renovation or construction that is going on. From the press statement issued, the management of music house has been served a notice over a year which Ayefele himself attested to. The question is, what has he been doing since? The fence of UCH was also affected as a result of the renovation ditto for the houses, complex and properties of other unknown or unpopular Nigerians. Why should Ayefele's case be different?

Ayefele is a musician I revere a lot. His music is loved by all and we thank God for blessing us with such a personality but then, we should not allow emotion to override our objective sense. I am not unmindful of the political undertone. In war, people always die, ditto for victims in political friction.

Let Ayefele gather the pieces of what is left and forge ahead, he is destined to be great and great he will be

Only a useless and insensitive government will demolish a business emoploying over 200 people (as noted by some sources) while it can't pay civil servants salaries. Why is Oyo state always cursed with useless and lawless governors? Even if the building was erected without approval, for God sake it is feeding 200 families. Because of the dodgy nature of all these government agencies, it is inevitable that there will be contraventions. They will collect money from you and still fail to follow through. The government may have a case, but this is just ajimobi being a dick and pursuing a vindictive agenda.
