If someone who is not a Nigerian goes through this thread, what impression would he or she have about us? I'm really saddened to read the comments here.

Truth be told. It all depends on the kind of people and society you surround yourself. Of course everywhere in the world some people do think like that but that kind of thought process is more predominant in poverty stricken societies. I'd return it. Someone returned an iPhone recently in the same Nigeria. As for your last statement, Japan is an example. More than ¥3BN in value of lost items were returned last year.

That's you bro. I've had my cars broken into and all items stolen, I've been burglarized and lost valuables. Nothing returned. Nothing needs to be said to inform any one we live in a cruel world where people take advantage of others. Tell me of one billionaire in the world that didn't ride on the back of innocent ones to get there. Even the clerics know someone has to be someone's fool for them to get where they are and maintain the pace they want to maintain. It's life, and it's common sense to me.
