The problem is who would you invite instead?
Do we have forwards scoring consistently? Or would you invite an equally average forward playing in a lower league? We are not spoilt for choices in attack.

Exactly my point. We just have to make do with Ighalo till one of the young strikers develop well enough.

Yea I’m okay with our strikers for now. The league has just started let’s monitor others.

With the call up of Jamil and Semi, how many of Obuh's boys have been able to make it to the senior national team(the super eagles)?

Emery really trusts iwobi, good to see he is repaying the trust on the pitch

I bet you will delete this post when you see the highlight of the goal.

Homebased players will always get an opportunity to showcase themselves. I’m talking of players who will hardly get a chance whether for the main SE or the CHAN team. Players need opportunity. We have a rough idea of the best players we have in the home front based on what we have seen from the WAFU nations cup, CHAN and the Atletico friendly. If these players are truly not good enough for he main SE, what’s the point? Granted we can pick a few of them that are really good.

If the players you want to take were not good enough for the main list then what is your point?

Players worse than iwobi are still playing. Mikhi for one has had too many misplaced passes.

With the call up of Jamil and Semi, how many of Obuh's boys have been able to make it to the senior national team(the super eagles)?

Firstly, did Jamilu Collins ever play under John Obuh? I dont think so.
But Semi Ajayi featured at the 2013 Toulon Cup under him.

Now the question should be how many of John Obuh's boys have not played for the Super Eagles? smiley
Cos even in the current setting we have up to 8: Onazi, Omeruo, Musa, Shehu, Kayode, Ndidi, Simon, Agbo, and now when you add Semi Ajayi it becomes 9. Emmanuel Daniel got invited to camp but was not capped.

Those that have played in the past: Kingsley Madu, Uche Nwofor, Ramon Azeez, Michael Uchebo, Emem Uduok, Usman Mohammed, Aminu Umar, Stanley Okoro. And to mention some that have also made names but yet to get called up: Abdul Ajagun grin , Gbenga Arokoyo and Michael Olaitan.

He has contributed immensely to the discovery of talents in Nigeria.

Iwobi didn’t play badly. In fact he played well. I think the change was purely tactical. I suspect a change of formation.

Iwobi was inside the post scampering to his feet. Even if he got a touch, Moreal's shot was already whistling inside the net.

So far, Kelechi Iheanacho is making me believe the saying "pre-season flatter to deceive"

Dude was banging in goals during the preseason like kilode but, now at the main event, him dun off light like no one's business

The suspected deflection was not when he was inside the post, if so it would have been his goal. It was the attempted lunge by him for the ball before it got the Montreal. Though I don't think it touched him at all, imo the keeper pushed the ball into Montreal.

Iwobi wasn't imposing in this match and he had nothing to do with the goal scored by Monreal, infact he gave away the ball that led to the goal against Arsenal. All these led to his premature sub. KPOM!

whoscored says he has an assist. Fantasy Premier League says he has an assist.

If he is on your FPL team, he has provided you at least 5 points now. Why will I delete the post? He has assist, that is the point. Whether na mistake or not, assist is assist.

Aubameyang has bee shiit 3 games in a row, but it is Iwobi you want to shiit on, it is you that should delete your post.

My post stands "He sha has assist"

So we should stop calling home base guys because 23 guys were selected for CHAN? So every other AMF in Nigeria should not be given an opportunity because 50 yr old Rabiu Ali showcased himself? Thank u very much.
