I'm with him on this, two things makes the phone stand out, the exterior design and the Camera. The camera is the benchmark for any phone right now.
Display and performance, mi 8 should beat it on paper but I can't really say.

I also forgot to mention that fans rotate at different speeds, hope you took that into consideration. If I tell you that the speaker on my phone sounds louder than your home theater system, would you believe it? There is a difference between 200rad/s and 20 rad/s, so the speed you were speaking of is not even defined. If you know photography, you won't even attempt to snap a fan moving at uniform speed and expect to see a static blade.

Modified: I totally ignored manual mode in some mobile cameras, with that you should be able to do it if the shutter speed and iso are high enough.

Just read on gsmarena. Mehn all these phones are hella cheap. i'm glad they included a fingerprint sensor at the back. It would be annoying not to have that in a phone. Less than 50K tho, i cannot complain about SD450.

I disagree, the big guns don't use mediatek so how will their using in house soc affect mediatek? It's qualcomm that sound feel the effect more

You never talked of flash na, and that was Xenon flash, same was available for the C905 then, if you had stated with flash (Xenon) then there would be no need for all these, it's for this reason I emphasized low light. And yes, the use of Xenon flash was killed in moblie phones due to the sleekness war, so no need to be surprised that modern phones can't achieve that. The result is the flash and nothing else.

If the big guys move to in house chipset, mediatek will likely loss her lower end clients to Qualcomm, Qualcomm may only suffer reduced profit because it needs to reduce the price to attract mediatek clients.
