Blame the incompetent governor for all that's happening in Benue. If Fulani herdsmen did not stop kebbi state from marching forward in agriculture why is Benue retrogressing even though there more herdsmen in kebbi? |

mrvitalis:Inventions didn't just occur in those countries just like that. For instance,American government has special grant which inventors can access, some Nigerians have invented quite a number of things such as electric triycle, pounding machine, alternative means to conventional power gernation and so on but how many of them secured state or federal government supports? If you take a look at annual budget in education how much is earmarked for R & D?India might have broken into technological world even with zero power generation but how did she get there, was it without government support or impetus?Without taking you far,is the increase in rice production in Nigeria today, supported by government or not? |

Where on earth will Kebbi have a population of 15m even when Lagos claim of 20m is still suspect. So the northern migrating to south, none is from Kebbi. Also state warning a revenue of almost their annual budget should mean good news to the state but I don't trust government. This election time and politicians will say just about anything. True, they are earning from rice but not see much the figures been brandied here. |

Boyooosa:Well, you may just be comparing apples with oranges. It may make more sense to buy the local rice for #450 instead of the foreign one @500 if you consider that: 1. Some of the foreign rice have been stored for close to 10 years and have preservatives which may be injurious to your health. 2. The value chain of the local rice provides ample opportunity for employment for Nigerians who could be your friends and/or relatives therefore reducing their financial dependence on you. |

| Re: Kebbi State Earned N150bn From Rice Sales In 2017 – GOV by Boyooosa(m): 12:35pm On Aug 27, 2018 |
teepain:Lol! Nigerians with fabricated theories.Anyway, I have been eating foreign rice for the past 30 years now and I have not died. For the GDP, the leaders ought to be urged to meet up with what their counterparts are doing at the other side; with that devt., it shows we are slower than a slug. Countries are patenting robot Walker, we are celebrating rice that is not well refined, circulated and marketed. Still, the bragging governor is still a role model for a demolishing governor and his cohorts. Do u feel what I'm seeing. |
