naijapips04:1. Show us where he asked for and received loans for this project. 2. Show us the counterpart funding he released for this project. 3. OBJ first awarded the contract in 2006 and this is 2018, but just like many abandoned projects PMB is starting or completing, the looting and stealing PDP with all the oil wealth they accumulated and stole could not start this project, but PMB did in less than 3 years. You ipobs are nothing but liars. You think you are fooling us or playing on our intelligence, but you are fooling yourselves and exposing yourselves and your incompetent looting and stealing PDP uncles. |

chriskosherbal:But I saw 2006 was obj not the president then. So I guess obj should take the credit. Note all what obj and get did is the concept but buhari executed it with no long story. |

naijapips04:@Op A project which was not conceived by GEJ's government and of which GEJ's government didnt invest a kobo on it, so how exactly does anyone go about opening threads like this ascribing ownership of the project to GEJ?... If the author of this piece had even tagged it an OBJ's project, it would have made some sense seeing that the concept of the modern standard gauge rails were properly developed under OBJ. All these die hard Jonathanians and their "it is GEJ's project" tantrums, I just wonder when the ridiculous after-death sycophancy will end. Maybe one day we'd be told GEJ invented the air we breathe. |

naijapips04:I'm not interested in your news, I responded to the quote about your lies that Jona borrowed money for the project so show us where he borrowed and released funds for the project. Besides, why is PMB starting in less than 3 years what the PDP with all the oil wealth accumulated in their time could not start in 10 years.? You people are just too clueless and shameless, it's like you people take pride in spewing trash and bathing yourselves with shame. |

the biggest problem pmb's social media goons have is their refusal to acknowledge that previous administrations actually did some laudable projects & had coherent economic policies... their strategy is to deny/repudiate/lie about any achievements/efforts of previous administrations so that pmb's little efforts seem like huge achievements... |

naijapips04:I thought I missed it the first time, but upon the second read, I still couldnt see where the report pointed out that previous governments released any funding for the new standard gauge railway project. Maybe you could be kind enough to highlight the part of the report where that was mentioned. |
| Re: Lagos - Ibadan Railway Not A Buhari Project. by naijapips04(op): 2:14pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
obailala:Dude it is on the damn first line of the first paragraph of the damn report. Surely you are blind not to have seen this. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday approved 1.488 billion dollars for the execution of the Lagos-Ibadan double track railway line modernisation project. Can you swear with your life that Buhari met nothing on ground as to regarding that rail system? |
| Re: Lagos - Ibadan Railway Not A Buhari Project. by obailala(m): 2:24pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
naijapips04:Do you mean to tell me and the rest of the readers on this forum that you do not know the difference between 'approving' and actually 'releasing' funds meant for a project? Would this be the first time you've heard of a government 'approving' a budget for a project but eventually not releasing a dime for it due to paucity of funds?.... Did OBJ not also 'approve' funds for these projects when they were initially conceived (and then GEJ came in and re-evaluated and re-approved)? So why exactly did you and your thread not give any credit to OBJ? Oga quit this ridiculous argument please. In a project's lifecycle especially in Nigeria, 'approving' a budget amount means nothing. Can you swear with your life that Buhari met nothing on ground as to regarding that rail system? With regards to the title and narrative of this your thread, can you swear with your life that GEJ met nothing on ground with respect to the rail modernisation project?.... Was it not the same paperwork and paper approvals which GEJ received from OBJ that PMB also received from GEJ?... so how exactly is it now GEJs project and not OBJ's since you claim that paper approvals matter? Quit being a mischievous political jobber; or at least of you must, try and be smart about it. |

naijapips04: The minister disclosed that FCT had secured a soft loan from China for the speedy completion of the 45 km rail project in 2013.ipob zombie calling other people zombie. Only zombies lie and make claims that they can not prove with facts but instead bury themselves in more lies and deceptions. 1. The article you posted is 6 years old. 2, The same article you posted quoted the minister saying soft loan was sourced for speedy completion in 2013. 3.This is 2018 so tell us what happened to the money and the contract and why it was not completed IN 2013 as planed by jona? 4.What happened to your soft loan and what was it used for? Was 1km of rail built with your soft loan? You are way in over your head with lies and rubbish. |

obailala:Quit being a kid. You are here claiming approved doesn't mean released but still can't show factually that the funds weren't actually released. FEC approved money to be spent. Can you show for a fact that these monies weren't spent? Can you swear with your life that Buhari didn't meet anything on ground? |
| Re: Lagos - Ibadan Railway Not A Buhari Project. by deomelo: 2:38pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
The minister disclosed that FCT had secured a soft loan from China for the speedy completion of the 45 km rail project in 2013.From the lying article this ipob liar posted. Jona secured so called soft loan for the project and promised to complete the project by 2013, but this is 2018, 5 years later, jona did not build 1 inch of rail, but PMB started and reached advanced stage in less than 3 years. You lying and clueless ipobs need to start analyzing your lies before shaming yourselves and your looting and stealing PDP uncles on the internet |
| Re: Lagos - Ibadan Railway Not A Buhari Project. by deomelo: 2:43pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
naijapips04:1. So, Jona borrowed money according to you, but you are now insinuating that he did not release the money? So, what was money for and what did he do with the money he borrowed? 2. Jona promised to complete the project in 2013, so what happened to the completion date and the money borrowed. |
| Re: Lagos - Ibadan Railway Not A Buhari Project. by naijapips04(op): 2:45pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
deomelo:Zombie, your mate is claiming that monies approved weren't released, that's not me. Secondly, the money borrowed was for the completion of 45km Abuja rail line. This was completed. |

naijapips04: naijapips04:ipob zombie, you said jona borrowed money for the project so tell us what happened to the money? My mate did not make that claim, you did. Also tell us why the project wasn't completed with the soft loan you claimed was sourced from China. You are nothing but another ignorant and unintelligent ipob lair. |

The minister disclosed that FCT had secured a soft loan from China for the speedy completion of the 45 km rail project in 2013.They borrowed money to build Lagos - Ibadan rail line and promised to complete the project in 2015, but they did not build 1 inch of rail. AS usual, Jona and his PDP looting and stealing gang looted the funds and abandoned the project. God Bless PMB for seeing this project through. |

we all know that Jonathan used to approve money for project but the question is, were the projects actualized?... we all know how Dasuki spent the money approved by Jonathan. what if the then minister spent the money like dasuki? let's be serious, this buhari government is spending every dime with integrity |

Ignorance in display, why did this PDP/Jonathan project commence in 2017 |
| Re: Lagos - Ibadan Railway Not A Buhari Project. by naijapips04(op): 4:21pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
seanw:It did not. The project has been on a on a long time. Rail projects are not what you start and finish in a jiffy. It's not like road. |
| Re: Lagos - Ibadan Railway Not A Buhari Project. by obailala(m): 4:45pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
naijapips04:Seriously?... For you not to know that there's a clear difference between 'approving funds' and actually 'releasing the funds', you just confirmed that you are either a child or an ignorant adult. But then again, on second thought, I dont believe you are any of the two; you're just another online mischievous political jobber trying to feign ignorance in order to distort facts. You asked me to provide evidence that fund wasnt released; but that's just a lame defense cos you should be the one providing evidence that funds were released and not the other way around.. The simple (but pointless) evidence you seek from me dangles before your very nose, not a single block was dropped at the project site. Since you continue to insist that GEJ released the funds for the project, then I guess the real question should then be, what happened to the funds?... Or was it swallowed as usual in the GEJ/PDP style?... Which contractor was given the contract and why was no work done?... Why did the new govt team have to travel to China several times to secure loans from scratch for the project if GEJ had already released the needed funds to the contractor?... or if GEJ did not release the funds to the contractor, who then was the money released to since you insist that GEJ's govt released funds for the project?.. Dasuki?... Cant you see you keep shooting and sabotaging yourself with this pointless argument? Can you swear with your life that Buhari didn't meet anything on ground?I mentioned it earlier to you that just as GEJ met something (i.e. a project approval on paper), PMB also met something which was also an approval on paper. It is now incumbent on you and your folks to prove to us that something was done outside the paper approval. The report you quoted only mentioned that a budget was approved; it didnt mention anywhere that the funds were released and neither did it say any bit of the project was started. In Nigeria, it is very typical for budgets to be approved but zero funds released eventually due to paucity of funds; the same scenario played out under OBJ. I do not believe you are ignorant of this, I'm very sure you're just being mischievous. |

| Re: Lagos - Ibadan Railway Not A Buhari Project. by Enice(m): 8:33pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
deomelo:actually the soft loan was for the Abuja-Idu rail lines that was completed by Buhari recently and not for the Lagos-Ibadan rail line |
| Re: Lagos - Ibadan Railway Not A Buhari Project. by Enice(m): 8:49pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
naijapips04:see as deomelo dey f*ck you left right and centre for net all because you tried to be mischievous. It is a shame. Accept the fact that GEJ did not fund any part of the Lagos-Ibadan rail line. You want to use the funds borrowed for the Abuja line to lay claims on the lagos line. Deceit is in their blood. |
