Hello guys, will appreciate your assistance with this strange issue.

I can't enter fastboot on my redmi 5 plus running miui 9.6.4.

I power off completely,
Press and hold the volume down and power button simultaneously.

It shows the fastboot logo for like 30 seconds then goes off.

I have tried multiple times with the same result.
I have done a factory reset, same thing.

I can boot to recovery mode using the volume up and power button.

I don't know if anybody has another suggestion before I try invasive methods using a PC.
had same ish... install drivers

At least he's proven the popular saying that 'when it looks too good to be true, it most likely isn't true'.

Which device are you using as your reference in your comparison? For instance, it is very heavy when compared to a sheet of paper, and very light when compared to a bag of cement, hope you understand?

Simply order for a replacement battery, that device is over two years old already. For your Note 4x, just update your phone if you can't find a way to download the miui stock camera app.
thanks boss, I tried downloading the link you sent previously but couldn't complete the process because it doesn't allow me to switch WiFi to complete the task. I did 500mb on 3 different sim cards for the 1.2gig update

That's another edge the Chinese version has.

I've used both global version and global rom and I can say, unequivocally, after non-cursory assessments with reasonable precision, that battery performance of the Chinese version is significantly better. lipsrsealed

Ps: if you've not used both, please don't raise a rejoinder based on thoughts. Thanks kiss
