The 57 suspected homosexuals arrested at the Kelly Ann hotel in Egbeda, Lagos stat, last weekend, have been granted bail. They were arraigned at the Magistrate court by the police yesterday August 29th and were granted bail.

Recall that the Lagos state police command arrested the suspects on Saturday August 25th on allegations that they were being initiated into Homosexuality.
The 57 suspected homosexuals were paraded before newsmen on Monday August 27th.

The Lagos state police spokesperson, CSP Chike Oti, in a chat with LIB, said the case against the suspected homosexuals is still very much alive as they are expected to appear before the court again.

nigeria is Just a stupid country. So, why would you arrest someone when you don't even have evidence against them

Now they are going to waste money on bail for what they didn't do.

Nigeria police with their method of arresting everyone at the scene, even if you no follow,as far as you are there or near to the place you will be arrested.

Those guys were gays. Its just that police wasn't smart when storming the venue. They should have blended in and even do some recording as hard evidence but typical of nigerian police, they stormed the place agbero style.

It is very typical of our police.They will arrest you for a crime you did not commit and use it to extort money from you.
Later they will say "police is your friend".

Nigeria is still a country with lack of proper human right, sexual orientation is something we don't certainly know it cause, this makes the cause of
homosexuality not certainly known as well, it could be biological, environmental, psychological factors, jailing them or killing them is not the solution, it is inhuman and lack of empathy.

WHO has made it known homosexuality is normal and natural and they should be treated like humans not criminals or less-humans.
