it means if you operate a savings account you just click the savings button and if you operate a current account you simply click the current button as displayed on the ATM

Buh what is confusing me here is that when opening the account we they ask you if its saving or current account? I just don't understand it.

Why am asking this, is that have not open an account via bank before I only do mobile opening via Dyaccount and am withdrawing from MTN's office steady.

Savings acct is mostly opened for business or personal savings while current acct is a salary acct although both can be used as salary acct but current acct is preferred

In savings account, the amount needed to open that account is less, depending on the bank you are using but it cant exceed 2k. Most times for personal use
In current account, the amount needed to open is much because it is used by companies, supermarkets, petrol stations because they transact on a daily basis.
