These consequences were bound to happen. Oh well all the can is get comfortable in prison and hope for a pardon after the war is over. These guys are definitely going to be punished severely since dhots were fired if I recall correctly. I do agree they were servered too long on front lines. They should been rotated more.



Set aside sentiments. There are proper ways in military to express grievances. Engaging in mutiny is not the answer especially when they were discharging their weapons. All these guys have families but they cant let that interfere with millitary discipline. The fact they severed so long is millitary's fault.

I don't think their issue is with staying with their families. I think it is posting them back to the warfront when they just came back. Whether military or not I think that is unfair unless the army is telling us we don't have enough men to fight boko haram.
Also these men die and the Army doesnt even care, they will even deny it. Their families are left alone. Who wouldn't do what they did?

Whatever makes 70 soldiers engage in mutiny is very serious and worthy of investigation. This people are supposed to be treated well since everyday is like their last day on earth.

Anyways Some people joined the Army so they can raise their shoulder or harass people and then end up getting more than they bargained for even though This may not apply to these people.

The source in story mentioned insufficient plantforms and bad weather making them scared. Im assuming the platforms mean mounted guns or vehicles. These guys could survive without basic equipment for year.
