@Newman1010,

Thanks for your response,

He's reapplying using the same admission, base on your analysis now, he has send mail to flywire to remit the money back to the school pending the outcome of his new application because the money has not hit his account, the school just inform him that his refund had been sent to flywire and the flywire has not received the money.

He has written mail to flywire and the school that once the flywire receive the money, it should be remit back to the school so that his student account can be updated.

Hope this will safe him as he's going for submission on Friday.

Thanks

@Jnyuwa02, I hope I won't be breaking any rule if I add additional docs to the section for LOE/SOP. I asked because these visa officers sometimes can be unpredictable.

No infact all other extra documents go with the LOE in the client information section of the profile. So you are good.

Morning everyone,

If you have a visitor's visa with a validity that covers the entire period of your proposed study before you apply for study permit, what will happen? Will CIC issue another TRV for study? Or just study permit without TRV?

I hope my question is clear. Thank you.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Mbaku86: 10:12am On Sep 04, 2018
I have been actively communicating with my Bank and they said the money has not reached their shores nor the intermediary local bank they used to finalize the Transfer in the first instance. Thank you for your advice, i just emailed my School to obtain the Telex copy. Currently awaiting their response. It is just surprising that a Transfer is taking up to three weeks. I wonder what the hold up is about.
canadabyfire:

Returned foreign currency transfer does not take more than 2 days......however, it is not a big problem.....you may need to write to your school to forward to you the swift message or telex copy evidencing the refund; with the telex copy, you can approach the receiving bank (your Nigerian Bank in this case) to trace where the money is hanging..................

The Nigerian bank through which you remitted the funds for your school fees, do you have an account with the bank? On the contrary you may approach your Nigeria Bank and lodge the complaints

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Mbaku86: 10:22am On Sep 04, 2018
And yes, I do have an account with them.

Madam what again can I do to my case apart from going back to first degree in Nigeria pls and need more advice from this can't i get approve without this I finish my OND in 2016 and have been working ever since then
Madam, please ignore the person advising you to go get your degree in Nigeria before applying for Canada. I still wonder were some people get their information. You're more better positioned to get admission and visa than a person seeking visa for a postgraduate and college diploma.
With OND of 2016 you stand far better chance of getting Visa to Canada. Just go and apply for admission, get your offer letter and go for your Visa. I repeat undergraduate Visa has more chances than postgraduate and diploma

Bro....just said i should say this. With the way you help fellow nairalanders on here i was surprised to see you say on previous pages that you are also expecting to hear from the VO. is this your first application or second? And what school did you apply to?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by canadabyfire: 11:23am On Sep 04, 2018
Lets not be in a hurry to issue advice, without first going through previous correspondence....the referenced individual (@Cherryola) has undergraduate admission already, but has gotten about 2 refusals..........from information provided ....he is in his late twenties, highest qualification is OND, voluntary job for a while, just a recent job offer of about 3months with about a 100k income from the company sponsoring him..........he has a land in his name.............in my own opinion his economic tie is weak.............my candid advice is for him to work a while, probably get promoted to a level with higher pay and higher job functions, then reapply...........

I already had biometrics on record prior to this application so I’ve skipped that step

Please I am considering the possibility of changing my school to University of Saskatchewan for a masters program in Finance with a second class upper division. Please is GMAT mandatory for a second class upper division in Accounting. Also is advance payment of fee a prerequisite for issuing acceptance letter by USASK. Will be highly grateful for your response.

Please let us Cancel all preconceived notions on this thread that you cannot get into a masters program with a second class lower (2:2). I got admission into an MBA program with my 2:2 and even less than 2 years work experience. Don't let agents deceive you so they can take the easy route.

Thanks for this. If you don't mind that I ask...what was your GPA, Which Uni and which course did you apply for please?

You seem to always be in a hurry to reply to a post without bothering to read the history of such posts. Instead of you to tell the person seeking for advice to ignore some advices, just give yours and why you think it's the best.

I don’t think OND is the problem. You are more than qualified to go for a bachelor’s degree. You need to work on showing ties and why you should be taken seriously as a legit student is what I read from Nogen’s post, which is not far from the truth. Only that studying and obtaining more qualification in Nigeria which she advocated, is not the recipy to the problem.

Hi. Is there any chance for approval without medical? Does getting a request to pick up passport mean a refusal if no medical was done? Application had been on since 1st week of June
