As far back as 2010 I was with a serving corps member with a PhD...why do we propagate lies?

And all these useless stuffs...corper with PhD....richest corper...who told you Davido is the richest corper ever? D'you think everbody is a noise maker?

Or do NYSC check prospective corpers' account now to rank richest and poorest corper?

You know nothing. She is not the first to serve with a PhD. I know a few that served with a PhD. It is not uncommon with Nigerians who studied in the US espcially. Some Nigerians who had their bachelors in the US just proceed to a PhD program and study for the next 4 or 5 years.

Although the aim has been trauncated but Gowon had good intentions when it was established in 1973. You will serve in the area of the country apart from where you were born or schooled thereby learning their culture and thus harmonised or unite us more as a nation(which actually we are not)It was a way of promoting national unity. However Nigeria is not a nation but a nation state.Each component like the Yorubas,Hausae&Igbos are nation's on their own even before the 1914 amalgamation.Each are bigger than Benin ,Ghana etc who are independent countries. The earlier we realize this the better.NYSC has outlived it's usefulness.
