Song title : love dust
Artist: big bang VS kyuhyun
My (hopefully) unbiased opinion : for some reason beyond me I don't like this big bang's song, it's nice, the vocals are on point but I just don't feel it, I do like the chorus though.

I don't like kyuhyun's too which is weird cos even though he's not my favorite vocalist in super junior, he's my favorite when it comes to ballad but this one feels like something he's done before, maybe it's cos I've listened to all of his ballads, it's a good song though, it just sounds like a million ballads I've listened to

If I had to score, I would give both 2.5/5, although I think kyuhyun's deserves at least a 3

Coco is a member of a kpop group so she is an idol, She reminds me a lot of Amber very carefree and approachable just like most of Edward’s friends.

This is a very unpopular opinion but this song does nothing for me. Both videos are fun and colorful. Nicki is a rap queen as usual but each time a member passed the screen as she rapped it just looked off.

It just doesn't leave a lasting impression like The truth untold, Fake love, Mic drop, Anpanman, even blood, sweat and tears(which I'm not particularly fond of but can't deny that it's intriguing).

Anyhoo, bighit sha know what they're doing. Can I buy shares??

I'm prepared for the shots to be fired.

Just finished watching it.
My leg moved the entire song, tapping to the beat which indicates that it's nice.
She didn't say "Su su sugar cake" enough times in my opinion, I wanted more. I really liked that line. The video is perfect for the song too.

The rap on the other hand, shooooooooooooo.
"lick the cream of your face", "lick the plate, lick the plate", HA FA NA!!!!!! She was being all demure with her inferences the guy was just blasting his own. The rap was meh sha, if I wasn't seeing the subs I'd have been like 'will you shift let the babe sing'.

Anyhoo, it's the kind of song I wouldn't actively search for for a second listen but if per chance I heard it again, it'd remember and sing "su su sugar cake".

I hope this is not a too harsh assessment. Some days I ask myself who made me a critic. smh

They're not lucky. They are super talented, with an amazing management and a very loyal fanbase (if slightly unhinged but then again, fine men will do that to you). They seem a bit generic yes, but then their rap line adds that little extra umph.
I think Kpop has a pattern, a mould and it's easier to conform to it. It takes a bit of special to break that mould. BigBang is a perfect example of that special. They're MADT!!!!!!

Since I prefer vocals, songs where their vocal prowess show appeal to me more. A few of their 'poppy' songs also scale through because how do you ignore them, they're made to be catchy.

It's only DNA and IDOL that I think overhype killed throway!!!! (lets not forget epiphany. sue me but I was sorely disappointed). The Fake love , Mic drop, Truth Untold hype is LEGIT!!!!!!!

There are no shots to be fired, you are on point....why do you think i have no comment, it was like they play the song, filmed Nicki just for the sake of it, edited the clip into the original MV with BTS looking lost and confused.

The worse part was My Cheonsa was next after her rap and it was just bad, his beautiful voice was ruined by the horrible editing.

It feels like Nicki was begged to so this to the point where she just said 'you have 5 mins go'.

I AM JUST GLAD I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THIS.

Chingu not harsh at all this is great, thank you. I understand what you mean...the song gives off such beautiful 90s vibe like Eddy said and the music video was simple and beautiful just like her voice but the rap did not seem like the right fit for it.

I really want to learn the choreography though. (That is if i could dance to save anything).

Hahahahahhahahaha.......it don't think they are only just lucky. Their songs are similar to kpop songs because they are the same type of music but most of their songs to me are really memorable, they are talented performers, their company is doing everything to get them out there no matter what and they have a very dedicated fandom.

So they are not just lucky, they have the qualities and the support that allows them to be lucky if i should put it that way.

Regardless of this, i still like them.

I wish she would have picked a more engaging rapper.

Her voice is really beautiful even when she sings naturally without the mic and all the fire works. I hope they continue to grow.

You have your own opinion and I have mine. There songs isn't different from every other kpop songs and I can name a few artist that they have better talent than them and are looked over. To me they just got lucky. I can say the same for an american artist owl city,his music are so good that I don't even know why he is not receiving enough recognition and take a look at ed sheeran and Taylor Swift to me they are overrated,Ed sheeran just got lucky with shape of you. To be sincere his music is not that good and Taylor swift I only enjoyed her music blank space and red. So to me some artist are overrated and just got lucky.
