Just imagine the level of hatred for Tinubu just because he is doing fine and has been able to turn APC to a leading party. Lets look at this allegations critically... Alphabeta consults for Lagos state since 2002, it generated 1.5thrillion and got paid its fees of 1.5billion. Their is no sin in this. We know some states Govs and former presidents that share billions without working for it. Even Dasuki shared 2.1b dollars to mention a few.
The only news here is for EFCC to find out if tax was not payed on the 1.5b naira made by alphabeta.
KPMG and co consults too for Nigeria and other nations and take their 10% or more and repertrate such.

That is where the problem comes. Alpha Beta took over from Olusola Adekanola & Co. to essentially identify potenyial areas of taxation, collect taxes and enhance the efficiency of the government tax office by training and equipping, all for a fee... which is not illegal.

However the grey ties between consultants and government remains the sticking point. The proof of which is in the tenure. Tax consultancies are not audits so they have a tenure. This is 16 years and counting. Exactly when will the Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue be strong and viable enough to conduct its statutory functions independently. Who decides these things. Who regulates the fees and tenure and checks for performance.... these are the questions that cause many to suspect that the government and consultants are one of the same side of the coin.

And you donot need to look far. There are only two constants in the ever changing face of politics Lagos since 2002, two factors that have remained the past 16 years, that is the party and its principal, Mr Ahmed Tinubu. You donot need to look further for the answers on what is clearly breach of trust.

There are rules that simply cannot make you the umpire and player at the same time. And if it is good fir the goose called Atiku and Intels, it should be for the gander.

This is why we should hope for an opposition party to win Lagos, effectively dismantling the corrupt structures instituted by Tinubu and probably jail him too.

There's a reason why area boys and touts are still a thing in Lagos. They're his foot soldiers who come election time continue to help him prop up his evil empire.
