INTELLIGENCE: ALHAJI DEFEATS PROFESSOR:

'If the Vice President cannot see that losing 7.9 million jobs in 21 months while creating 500,000 jobs is a deficit, then I do not know what to say to the professor.
Prof. Osinbajo also harps on “prudence in public finance”, but he fails to show the wisdom in sharing out $322 million of Abacha funds only to take a loan of $328 million from the Chinese the next month. Many Nigerians, myself included, see this as imprudence.
.... My response to Vice President Osinbajo is that while I was Vice President in 2006, Nigeria’s Economic Management Team, paid off Nigeria’s entire foreign debt of $30 billion, at a time when we were earning one third of what the Buhari administration is currently earning from oil." - Alhaji Atiku to Prof Osinbajo. grin

Osinbajo thinks governance is to speak grammar and present papers that only glouse over issues leaving the facts. I read his response which made no meaning at all. He mentioned Western region achievement in the 60s, mentioned fiscal federalism but has failed to push for same system in his adminnistration. He s busy paying people to write promote every speech he makes.Nigerians r too wise for his like. After leaving office i know he will want to tell people how he presented hundreds of papers that did not put food on people's table.

This Athifku and his followers are all daft: How can he compare 1999 when minimum wage was 5000 naira, population was 130 million to now that minimum wage is 18000 naira, and our population is close to 200 million?

During the time of Obj/Atiku, I wasn't told that they build anything, or that oil prices plunge by 50%, rather, oil prices were rising the whole time and they made more than 500 billion dollars on oil receipts alone.

It was during this time of plenty that large scale industries shut down, from refineries to textile and garment to aviation to telecommunications (NITEL)

Obasanjo made sure he left us with two of the worst that would finally nail us by picking a terminally ill President and a dumbo vice to finish the destruction that he started and they did a great job of it.

They won't like your analysis , forgetting that the same Atiku and PDP looted , privatized and sold 80% of the industries in Nigeria

Under Obasanjo they squandered $16B on their pockets and Nigeria has no stable power supply

Steel rolling , Pegeout among other industries closed down permanently

even the companies who managed to stay afloat are now sinking because some idiots failed to lay the right foundation

Let them talk

i don't blame him though, anything to earn his allowance.

Foremost, who is the id10t that believes Nigeria will loose almost 8million jobs in a span of 2yrs under this administration? If you are here please raise your voice for identification.

8million is the number of registered voters in five states of SE zone. Atiku says about that many people lost jobs and income in less than 2yrs....and the economy is still buoyant? What a creep!

It is advisable in a credit ranked economy to take loans to improve rating and build trust with creditors. We all know Nigeria has credit rating.

Lagos State grew its own economy and became best in class by incrementally improving its creditworthiness through loans.

Please explain the borrowing aspect. Cos I see no reason why a return loot will be shared, and the next month same figure is borrowed.

Atiku is playing with the minds of ipob Jews. Everyone knows the condition for returning the abacha loot. It was strictly to be shared to the poor and vulnerable in the society and monitored by the Swiss govt.

Obj/Atiku last three years in office, oil prices per barrel average:

2005 - $66.62
2006 - $70.77
2007 - $75.66

Buhari /Osinbajo First three years in office, oil prices per barrel average:

2015 - $43.22
2016 - $37.02
2017 - $42.63

Not until the second quarter of 2018 when President Trump pulled America out of the nuclear deal with Iran before oil prices start to climb up, it has been oscillating between 60 - 75 dollars per barrel which is same as 2007, not to mention the fact that the Niger delta avengers brought down production to bellow a million barrel per day, from an average of 2.2 million before Buhari took office.
