Did you try to go through the link he posted b4 concluding? I understand your point that the November slot is for those going for summer but nobody actually knows if November slot is for summer students. Remember most schools starts summer application by November and give admission by January/February.

Now since July, it’s been written on their site that there are no more slot for visa appointments but people still applied and got visa appointment date (am an example).

If you went through the site the guy posted here, you will see that it was boldly stated “LONG TERM VISA FOR STUDENTS ONLY. So as you can see he booked for a long term visa which stated for students only. I actually think they want to stop email appointment booking and start online booking. Remember last year, bookings were made online. They can decide to change method anytime they see fit.

The only problem now is that if he goes for interview and the VO sees that his coming for winter. He might get a visa rejection if truly that the November slot is meant for summer students only (Nobody is sure about that fact)

For me there is no harm in trying. If am the one I will go there and see for myself. If they send me back I go back. If God dy by my side and they accept me. I port to dutchland.

Sir, that link to long term visa has been there for a very long time. I applied through it early this year and I couldn't got appointment date until may when it was re-opened. And alternative method of booking appointment date was emanated which sending mail through studntmail.
My candid advice for him , every booking comes with a confirmation mail. Once he got a mail for visa interview, then I think he can go for it.
But remember, every appointment missed you can only aplied after three month. .....b wise.

l applied through the link l posted earlier and l was sent a confirmation email from the embassy highlighting the appointment date. Many people going for the winter session applied too.

This is the email l got so l want to ask some questions

1. Was this not the same kinda email some us got for the appointment?
2. Does it mean the German embassy was drunk to have re-opened that site for appointments or where they hacked?
3. From, my little research l got to know that some german officials in the embassy were on SUMMER VACATION that was why the email process was established. so the have actually resumed work so that was why the OFFICIAL method of appointment was re-opened.
HOW true is this fact?
4. when l was applying l saw 7.00am - 7.15am, 7.15am - 8.00am etc...instead of the normal 1 hour interval. Does that mean anything?

You don't need to get another one if it's Mawista, that should be okay. If it's Axa Mansard, aiico or other travel insurance from Nigeria, you will need a private health insurance (cos kf your age) after your arrive in Germany.

Bros, kindly explain further. If d Embassy requests for "6 months travel insurance," how many months "Mawista health insurance" should I buy? Will they accept it? I don't mind killing 2 birds with one stone.

get a six month mawista and u can use it to collect your visa and pay when you get to Germany mind you your visa will be valid from when health insurance starts .
I.e if you health insurance in Germany is from October st that's when u can be able to travel from Nigeria .
