Episode 1
..
The sun shone brightly as if God wanted to
use it to punish the inhabitants of Earth
cause of their wicked acts.
Meanwhile, the students of OLOMORO HIGH
SCHOOL were trekking home. Most of the
students in O.H.S were pedestrians, they
walk long distance to and from school.
.
However, wisdom was thinking about his
family as he walk home with sweat seen
visibly on his body.
“my friends have been gisting me that their
WAEC enrollment fee is complete but my case
is different entirely, chaii. God why?” he
lamented.
“but i know God will provide…” he concluded
and continued walking…
..
On getting home, he discovered there was
no food.
“as always” he said…
“after trekking this hot sun from school, no
food” he cried.
.
He packed dry garri, pour water, soaked it
ans went to meet his parents in the farm…
Mr. and Mrs. Okoro{Wisdom’s parents} were
very poor, even feeding is a problem but
they proposed in their heart to send their
child to school at all cost.

Wisdom joined his parents in their work
and they came back home after lot of work
extremely tired…

It was so bad for them as there was no
money to buy foodstuffs they will use in
preparing supper….
They have no option than to eat without fish
nor meat.

After eating, wisdom parents advised him to
be hardworking and always focus on his
studies so that he can excel and not to allow
the present sufferings weigh him down..
…Wisdom thanked his parents, read his
books according to his home timetable and
slept early so as to wake up early the next
day and prepare for school…

The next morning which was on tuesday,
Wisdom woke up very early, said his prayers
and prepared for school.
“mummy am ready for school” he said.
“ok my son, stay out of trouble”

When wisdom arrived at school, he went
straight to his class as it was not yet time for
assembly. When he got there, he saw Dennis
and Miracle already in class gisting about
something.
The two boys(Dennis and Miracle) were very
rude, they don’t obey teachers, they always
involve themselves in examination
malpratice and they take pleasure in bullying
junior students.

“good morning guys” wisdom greeted.
“who do u think you are greeting? Did u see
your mate here?” Dennis asked arrogantly.
“we are in the same class, so we are mates
academically” wisdom replied.
“shut up, no try am greet us again becuz we
nor be ur mate” they fired back in their
street language…

After insulting wisdom, they walked out of
the class.
“empty vessels make the loudest noise”
wisdom said and immediately the bell for
assembly was rung….

After assembly, everyone was inside their
classes having their lessons but Dennis and
Miracle were busy gallivanting around the
school.

Meanwhile, at home wisdom’s parents were
involved in a hot argument. Mr okoro was
called for a meeting in another village but
his wife insisted that he should not attend….
“shut up woman, this meeting is important
to me” he said and dashed out of the house.
He went to the bus stop, stopped a bike and
off they went.

Location: OLOMORO HIGH SCHOOL.
Time: 2:00 pm
The bell for closing could be heard and
students trooped out of their various classes
heading home under the hot sun and
wisdom was not excluded….

At home, wisdom’s mother was having her
quiet time in her room when her husband
called her…
“hello, u really went for the…..”
“hey woman, are u mr. Okoro’s wife?” the
caller interrupted.
“yes, ah ah. Is this not my husband?”
“your husband was involved in a terrible
accident and we don’t know whether he is
going to survive… come over now” the caller
said and end the call.

¤Reward and Consequence ¤written by ¤Destiny Ighomaro ¤Episode 3 …. “your husband had a terrible accident and we don’t know whether he will survive… Come over now” the caller said and end the call.. … “jessuss!” mrs okoro exclaimed… That moment, it was as if she should commit suicide, she felt blank and empty. She raised a shout and people gathered to know what is happening. One of their neighbour who had a vehicle decided to carry her to the hospital. As they were about going, wisdom arrived and saw people gathered around their house, he was curious about what was happening and as he was about to ask, he saw his mother in a vehicle and they were about taking off. He inquired to know what was happening and someone told him that his father was involved in an accident. … …. Wisdom’s heart sank into his stomach when he heard the shocking and devastating news. He began to cry. “don’t worry he will be well” people consoled. … … Mrs. Okoro arrived at the hospital and she hurried to were her husband was after asking for directions. She burst into tears when she saw her husband. He was unconcious and had sustained many injuries and the worse of it was that not even a single treatment had been given to him. .. She was sent for immediately by the doctor of the hospital. “good afternoon madam, have your seat” He said while she sat down in an office chair opposite the doctor’s own. “hope you are the wife the man who was rushed here?” “yes sir” she answered. “ma, i am afraid your husband’s case is very critical” he said. “doctor please do something, i dont want to loose him… Pls help me……..” she said crying while the doctor interrupted her. “woman….. your tears cant save him…. you have the bring the sum of #70,000 so that we can start treatment” He said.. … Mrs. Okoro begged the doctor to start treatment until she look for a way to get it but all fell in deaf ears. She had no option than to go home… … … When she got home, she saw wisdom crying and she told him what happened at the hospital… “haa mummy, how can we get that big amount of money” he asked crying… “i dont know oo” she answered crying too.. “should i go and meet daddy’s brother, uncle Ben?” he asked. “my son, dont worry yourself. He wont give you a kobo” she replied. … Wisdom decided to go because he cant allow his father to die. Ben is a brother to Mr. Okoro and was very rich but the fact is that he does not help anybody… There was a time when wisdom was about writing junior WAEC and there was no money. He went to him but he drove him back.. But now that his father is dieing he had no option than to meet him for help..

As he was running, he was praying in his mind that God should touch his uncle’s heart so that he can agree to help him. Meanwhile mr. Ben, his wife and his two kids were in their sitting room watching movies when they heard a knock on the door. “come in, the door isn’t locked” Mrs. Ben said. .. Wisdom gently pushed the door open and entered inside. “good afternoon uncle…..” he greeted. “boy, keep that nonsense greeting to yourself, say what you want to say and leave my house, fast!” He shouted. “errrm, actually i came to beg you to help me because my father just had a fatal accident and he is currently in the hospital but we don’t have enough money for his treatment, uncle please help me and my mother… please…” wisdom narrated.. “you don’t have money to pay for your father’s treatment? Is that why you have come to meet me? Am i a bank? Tell me do i look like a bank to you?” he shouted.. “uncle please, am begging you in the name of God” wisdom pleaded.. “hey, i don’t care. Now before the count of 3 leave my house” He shouted. . Wisdom continued pleading but all fell in deaf eats. He had no option than to go home and look for another way. ~~~~~ Wisdom’s mother was in her room crying when wisdom barged in. “wisdom, how did it go?” she asked even though she knew that mr. Ben would refuse. “mummy, that man is heartless, he refused” he answered. “i know, i know he won’t render anything even though this case is concerning his own blood brother, what a wicked man?” she cried. .. “mummy what’s next?” he asked. “my son, i don’t know oo” she replied crying.. …. …. … …. As they were still contemplating on what to do, they heard a knock on the door. “come in” wisdom said. … The neighbour who had carried wisdom’s mother to the hospital earlier came inside. “any development?” he asked. “errmm.. no” wisdom replied.. “what? you mean you haven’t looked for any means to get little money?” he asked. “i went to meet my uncle but he refused to help” Wisdom said. “you mean your father’s brother?” he asked. “yes” wisdom replied… … “infact am confused and tired of this world… i don’t know what to do” Mrs. Okoro sobbed. . “its okay, don’t cry again…” the cyclist said and dipped his hands into his pocket, brought out a bundle of money and handed it to them.. “that’s is 70,000 naira, go to the hospital and pay for the treatment…. be fast” … TBC Encourage me with comments

They were so happy as they shed tears of relief. “haa, my son. God bless you, any body planning evil against you shall not prosper…………” . “thank you mama, its nothing….. Just go fast and pay for papa wisdom’s treatment.” He told wisdom’s mother who was still praying for him. “ma’m, you know time waits for nobody, please rush to the hospital and make the payment before it gets out of hand” He warned. “yes, thats true” wisdom and his mother said in unison and rushed out of the house. .. .. They rushed to the express way, boarded a bike and off they went. On getting there, they went to the doctor’s office and made the payment. …… The doctor called two nurses and they started work immediately………… …. …. …. …. …. …. …. …. Time check: 2:00am(midnight) Mr okoro opened his eyes slowly, he couldn’t figure where he was, he had forgotten all that had happened. He tried to get up but a sharp pain in his legs hindered him. “arrrghhhhh” he groaned in pains… That was when he remembered that he was involved in an accident… . “doctor, doctor, he has waken up” A nurse who was on duty that night shouted in the top of her voice as she ran towars the doctor’s office. . The doctor who had heard the good news ran out of his office heading to emergency ward 5, bed no. 17. He got there and confirmed that Mr. Okoro has regained conciousness. He immediately ran some tests on him and gave him some medications. “don’t worry sir, you will be fine” the doctor assured. “wait doctor, has my family know about this?” “yes of course, your wife and son brought the 70,000 needed for your treatment” he replied. “oh my God! how did they get that huge sum of money?” he asked. “The important thing here is your life. You have to thank God you made it alive. You really need to rest now so that you can recover yourself” The doctor said and left…. …. ….. Seconds turn minutes, minutes turn hours and yet it was another day. Wisdom woke up 6:00am and went to greet his mother who was in the kitchen preparing breakfast. “mummy, Egwoh!” he greeted in isoko language. “vrendoh, you have woken up. How are you?” she asked “am fine” he answered “i won’t be going to school today, i have to go along with you to the hospital” he added. ….. …. She insisted that wisdom should go to school and he agreed. .. An hour later, wisdom was set for school. He informed his mother and left. Mrs. Okoro took her bath, packaged her husband’s food and left. When she arrived there, she discovered that her husband is now conscious and she praised God. ….. …… …… …….. ….. Meanwhile, at school, wisdom couldnt breath because of sympathizers but Dennis and Miracle were busy laughing….

They told him many irrelevant things. “your father is a high time vagabond.. Hahaahaa… why won’t he have that kind of funny accident” Dennis said laughing… “na wa o.. Waka waka” miracle added and they laughed again……… “silence is the best answer given to a fool” wisdom said in parable, ran to an empty class and started shedding tears of pain. . The two boys laughed again and bounced out of the class. They were actually going no where, just to gallivant around the school. Wisdom was bitter at hat moment… He later cheered up and went to his class. .. “where have you been?” linda asked wisdom. “errmm, i ….. I… was….” He stammered. “don’t tell me you were thinking because of what those fools told you, leave them alone and focus” linda advised. “ok, thank you” He said and sat down. ……….. Linda is a classmate and friend to Wisdom. They are voth intelligent. Apart from being intelligent, linda is a very beautiful girl, she has a face someone can die for and her open teeth crowned it all making her a beauty princess. Wisdom on his own side is handsome. They both have feelings for each other but they feel they are too young to disclose their feelings. So, they kept to themselves. ……….. Meanwhile, at the hospital the doctor and wisdom’s mother were discussing.. “madam, your husband will be discharged next week because he is responding very fast to treatment” The doctor said. “ok doctor, thank God. So, is there going to be any payment again?” She asked. “not at all, the 70,000 naira has taken care of everything, so don’t worry” he assured. “ok thanks, let me be going home” she said and left for her home… “what a mighty God? I thought the man will kick the bucket but i was wrong” The doctor said when she has left… .. Time check: 2:00pm “ding dong, ding dong, ding dong” The closing bell for O.H.S could be heard and students started heading home. Among them, were wisdom and linda walking home together and gisting along the way.. “wisdom wait, were is the 20 naira you borrowed from me yesterday?” she asked. “probably on my wedding day, you can come and take it” he said smiling. “silly you. Who are you going to marry?” she asked. “if not you, then who else?” wisdom questioned. “and whats the meaning of that?? She asked forming an angry face. “you are scared. Hahahaa” she laughed. “am not scared” he defended. “i scared you” she retorted. “ok, you win” he said. … Finally, they got to the junction were they are to seperate. ¤Reward and Consequence ¤written by ¤Destiny Ighomaro ¤Episode 7 …. Wisdom got home and saw his mother sleeping, he then woke her up. “my son, you are back welcome” she said. “ok mummy. So how is daddy?” he asked curiously. “he is fine, he will be discharged next week” She replied. Wisdom was so much excited when he heard that, he thanked God and ran inside excitedly to change his clothes. ……FEW DAYS LATER…….. …. Mr. Okoro has been discharged and was very healthy again. He thanked the cyclist seriously for being so kind to him and he always pray for him. ….. TIME CHECK: 1:00pm(midnight) LOCATION: Inside an unknown forest(LORD ZUKAKA’s CHAMBER) … “you are such a lazy comrade, that little task i gave you, you coudn’t do it… you will face the consequences henceforth” Lord Zukaka barked out in raging anger. “my lord, i tried my best. I tried my best to eliminate him…. But… but… its like his God is stronger than…. ours” Ben said in confusion.. “shut up! How dare you” lord zukaka shouted angrily. “am sorry my lord, it was just a slip of tongue” Ben apologised fearfully. “don’t ever try to say such here again or else you will run out of here totally insane” He backed out.. “now tell me, by what means did you try to kill him with?” He asked… “my Lord, i tried my best. I caused him into a very dangerous accident but he survived” Ben explained.. “shut up!” comrade Okonkwo(another member) shouted. “am sorry comrades… My lord am sorry. Pls give me sometime i will try my best” Ben said in fear. ….. “ok fine, after next week and you are unable to eliminate Mr. Okoro, your brother then you loose your riches” Lord zukaka declared giving him grace for a week. …. … …. “oh! Chimmoooo, somebody help me oooo….. My husband is dead oo” wisdom mother’s cried as she looked her husband’s dead body on the ground.. People in the neighbourhood started trooping in, some were crying while some were just shouting….. “God why me” mrs. Okoro screamed and woke up…. … “Jesus… This a bad dream… No weapon fashioned against me must not prosper” She said… .. “no way, nobody not even the devil can kill my husband” she added……..

¤Reward and consequence ¤written by @focusboydestiny . Episode 8 ……. Mrs. Okoro narrated the dream to her husband and thank God they were people who believed in God. They started a fasting and prayer which was to last for seven days. ….. Location: Mr. Ben’s secret chamber…… “odu du ma le, kashi kashi.. Ko ra sa ma leai” Ben said trying to invoke his brother on his mirror and kill him directly. “igbudu!” he shouted as he saw the picture of Jesus in the mirror instead of Mr. Okoro. Immediately, Jesus disappeared and thunder stroke the mirror into pieces. Ben ran out of the chamber sweating profusely. “igbudu…… is too weak for my liking” He confessed. He tried and tried but all was to no avail. At a point, he became extremely tired. . However, on a Wednesday at O.H.S the bell for break over rung continuously but Miracle and Dennis were still gambling around the school. They had committed many crimes in the school. The principal wanted to expel them but their parents pleaded on their behalf. Wisdom and Linda were focused on their education and their frienship grew stronger day by day. ……. …. One week later, Ben has tried all his possible best to kill his brother but it was just a mere waste of his time. Lord Zukaka and his other members were so furious that they chased him out of their occult group. Mr. Ben was so troubled and worried when he got home. “is this how my riches will just go? My money, my cars, my my….” He cried out. Meanwhile, his wife has been eavesdropping on him. “honey, what’s eating you up?” she asked him. “woman, mind your business” he shouted and walked out on her. “hmmmmm, am beginning to suspect this man” she said and left the sitting room. …… …… …. …… ….. …. ONE YEAR LATER…. ……. ……. ….. It was time for wisdom to write his WAEC EXAMS but there was no single kobo for his enrollment fee. “mum, dad. How can i pass through jss1 to ss3 and the end will be vanity… No way.” Wisdom said. “my son, i know how it pains but try to reason with………” Mr. Okoro was saying when his son interrupted him. “i am not reasoning anything.. I must write that exam at all cost” He said and ran outside not minding his parent’s call. “he love education. I wish i can train him but am too poor. He doesn’t deserve me. Yes, wisdom does not deserve me” He sobbed. “don’t talk like that my husband. God knows why we are like this, He is in control. Everything will be fine” His wife assured him. ………… Wisdom was outside contemplating on how to raise money for his enrollment fee. After several thinking, he got none. “oh God, help me. What am i going to do?” he screamed.

He kept them and rushed out to hawk for that day. When he was hawking that day, he saw a man walked past him and the man’s wallet fell from his pocket. Wisdom picked it and quickly looked at it. He saw thousands of naira arranged in it and was tempted to pick them but as a honest boy, he called the man and handed him the wallet. “oh Lala!!!” the man exclaimed. The wallet was containing a cheque of millions of naira and also #20,000 naira in cash. “what a good boy! I didn’t even know my wallet fell” he said and gave wisdom 10,000 naira as an appreciation. . Episode 12 . “he killed my lovely sister” Mr. Okoro cried while his wife was consoling him. “don’t cry, God has taken care of everything. The evil that men do lives with them” She consoled. People trooped in Mr. Okoro’s house telling them how his brother’s house and business ground both all his properties collapsed. . “no one should call him my brother, he is not my brother” Mr. Okoro shouted. . . . . Meanwhile, Mrs. Ben and her children broke in tears as they watch everything they have destroyed before their very eyes. “is obvious your father is a ritualist. Everything he has now is destroyed. He pinched himself so as to wake up but NO, it was real life, it was in reality. . “Jummybabe sent this message? But i like her as a friend. I can’t cheat my girlfriend, i can’t cheat on Linda, i can’t just cheat on her” He said to himself. . . . . OTOR IYEDE VILLAGE. …… Meanwhile, Mrs. Ben and her children had successfully trekked from Olomoro to her village(otor-iyede). Her mother was surprised to see her and her children looking very weak and weary. . . “so, that’s it mother” Mrs Ben said. She has finished explaining everything to her mother. She was so surprised and dumbfounded when she heard the story. . “so, Ben’s riches aren’t genuine?” She asked. “no wonder. She dressed up and went to were Wisdom had text him earlier. . When she got there, she saw Wisdom sitting alone in a chair. . “Hi” She greeted. . “please sit down, Jummy” He said ignoring her greeting, pointing at the chair opposite him. . “Ok” She said as she sat down on the chair. . . “Linda, i won’t beat around the bush. I know how you feel. I know know your feelings but please try your best to understand me….. He stared at the message very well again to make sure his eyes weren’t deceiving him. The sum of 2 million naira had been transferred to his bank account by an unknown person. “No i can’t just keep this to myself. Another person needs to see this, this is miracle” He said. “honey! Honey! Please come here. Be fast!!!” He screamed calling his wife. . His wife was in the kitchen cooking and gisting with Wisdom’s mother outside when she heard the call. “hmmm, this one that your husband is calling you honey today so. I know he had something good for you, so quickly go now” Mrs. Okoro joked. . “hahahaha, you are funny. Let me go sha. Please help me look my food. I am coming. You know there are thieves in this street.” She said and rushed inside to answer her husband’s call. “funny friend” Mrs. Okoro said when her friend had ran inside. . She got inside and saw her husband staring at his phone. “my husband am here” She said. “Enhen, come look at this” He said handling her the phone. . She stared at the message and back to her husband then back to the phone again. “This is miracle!” She screamed in joy and surprise. . Mrs. Okoro was very happy for the couples, they have moved from grass to grace, from pit to palace and from zero to hero. . . He was somehow disappointed because he had waited for a week, he decided to call his mother and know why she hasn’t send the number. Meanwhile, Linda has tried reaching him since the day she was given the number but it wasn’t going through. . Wisdom has scrolled down to her mum’s number and was about clicking it when he received a call from an unknown number, he picked it and heard a familiar voice. “hello its Wisdom on the line, who is this?” Linda heard his voice. “hello love, its Linda from Nigeria. How are you dear?” She asked. . Wisdom was very excited. It’s been long he heard her beautiful and sweet voice. . They talked for more than half an hour. Who would not be happy with such, that person must be a witch. . His father bought some drinks and everybody who came drank and celebrated with him. . However, Linda was now also a graduate as a lawyer. She wasn’t aware of Wisdom’s arrival from London. He didn’t inform her, he wanted to make it a surprise. . “mummy, can you please call Linda to come here? Probably to help you do some domestic works” Wisdom told his mother the next day after his arrival. “why?” She asked him. “i want her to know i am back naa, i didn’t tell her before and i am not sure she is aware” He replied. “if you say so, no problem.
