The Polystyrene foam is a thermoplastic material obtained by polymerisation of styrene. As a material, EPS is formed by union of so many beads of polystyrene produced during a modelling process with supply of heat as water steam until the required process is achieved.
Polystyrene is part of EPS regarded as a new technology in Nigeria, but not so in the developed world. It is a popular technology in places like UK, China, Italy and has been used consistently for the last 40 years.

According to Bello, “Citec ensures the doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, burglary proof materials are manufactured by the company to ensure that these products are churned out in a more mechanical way than pedestrian.

“We break down the house to elementals, not just to build and deliver the homes. From the foundation, installing of doors and windows, to provision of drainages, we ensure that we provide elements needed, not relying on third-party contractors to provide these.

Look at it critically, I’m sure it’s just a one way production process. There’s definitely no arrangement for recycling; the process only churns out plastics continuously.

Good one from gov Udom though. But there’s more to industrialization than building factories.
