I wish I could lead a revolution but is it still possible for an individual to die for the peace of the majority and still not misused as the case of Christ and the world.
I feel for the fellow, was in same shoes with the op until I found a placement in a school were am over stretched and underpaid. Was through with service 2016, ventured into politics immediately as a PA to an aspirant, rose to the level as the media director and secretary. We lost at the poll and was forgotten. All my hope was to get appointed after winning but forgot it could go the other way. For more than seven month I was almost in the tip of committing suicide. Thanks the privilege to gather myself back and bounce back again...

My joy was that I developed my career in administration and content writing and political analyst, cause I graduated as a political science with 2:1. It was a period of hell, even till now for me...

Am available though for job placement... Am available for interview in the next two weeks... 08136456133

In life your goals must be carefully calculated. I am very sure that me starting a revolution in Nigeria will amount to nothing, I will be a scapegoat and my memory and act will virtually disappear into oblivion. Besides, Nigerians would call me stupid and lazy. I know Nigerians very well, we are not yet ready to shed our cowardice and see the big picture. So it would be stupid to die when I know it would amount to nothing. Please don't be desperate to paint me as a coward who talks but can't walk the talk.

Don't mind ObaOloye. He didn't read where I wrote that revolution is not a man's business but the effort of a large majority that think alike and are brave alike. He also didn't read what I said would happen if the majority weren't thinking alike and brave alike. He is desperate to paint me as an empty talker.

Which is better? :
1) You know before hand that the revolution you are staging would amount to nothing but you go ahead and die.
2) You carry on with your life rather than do (1).

In Nigeria, no one has your time. If you like follow (1), your memory will virtually escape into oblivion or if you are lucky, you will rot in jail for year as a scapegoat. In fact, the fellow Nigerians you are trying to help will brand you crazy, fanatical, and/or lazy. Why would they? 'cos unlike you, they are cowards, short term thinkers, vanity driven and instant gratification driven set of people.

Shebi when I am telling naija youths, dem go dey talk say I no know anything. How bad must things get before people realise that revolution is due in this country? How bad and disgraceful must the standard of living be before people begin to think in the long term and know what matters most? Is it until doctors start driving keke as side hustle that we will wake up? Revolution is not happening in this country because revolution can't be brought about by cowards and short sighted people. Revolution can't be brought about by people who love their skin and comfort and are full of vanity and instant gratification. Revolutionists are brave and intelligent men/women who can see the big picture and can suffer and lay their lives for a cause that will benefit future generations.

If you youths can't be united to see the big picture and start a revolution then they should shut up and stop whining. Your whining won't do an inch, highest thing you protest and when you are tired, you go home and life goes on--- nothing changes. If you doubt me, ask ASUU and JOHESU. Youths should realise that our politicians and top officials don't give a shit about them and are not ready to help. Stage a revolution or shut up. America is great today because certain men and women suffer and died for to make it what it is. They weren't just whining. At least you know Nelson Mandela who was imprisoned for 27 years and others who were killed while fighting the apartheid regime. Good things don't come easy because we live in a wicked and harsh world.

So if youth are not ready to revolt and be sensible, they should shut the fvck up and go and drive keke; sell bags of rich, beans and garri; do bricklaying, tailoring or carpentry work or enter petty trade & business after four solid years in the university or if they like they should be deceiving themselves with "god will make a way", "God will provide", "everything is in God's hands", "by the grace of God " rubbishes and garbages. Mtewwww. Nigerians being the cowards that they are would rather open churches and exploit their fellow Nigerians instead of revolt; they would rather traffick drugs and ruin the country's reputation than revolt; they would rather do yahoo yahoo than stage a revolution; they would rather protect politicians that give them peanuts rather than revolt etc. Why? They are cowardly, short sighted and instant gratification- driven to stage a revolution.

Nelson Mandela wouldn't have spent 27 years in prison if he wanted to save his skin. He wouldn't have been part of his movement in the first place or would have retracted his stance when forced to do so to avoid imprisonment. So op, take heart. There is keke to drive, danfo business to do, food stuff trading to do, bricklaying to do, dry cleaning business, recharge card business and a host of other things to do that are not related to your certificate. If you are still lucky, you might still get a great job. Take heart, I am a truth talker.

Truthful words here, so blunt.

Nigeria is a scam, the only way out is revolution. Who will lead this fight? No one. It is an egoist and weak society, the mighty has poisoned the mind of the weak. It is an ignominy and a total shambles. The youths of this nation must realized no one cares about them, not even their so called selfish parading leaders. The earlier one wakes up to the truth, the better.

As for the person looking for a Job, I will advise you to venture into business, start from somewhere, keep hustling and you can still keep applying and hope one day things will be better. Quite unfortunate you were born into this failed system.

You are mad but you have no one to tell you. The whole Nigerian masses that would bring about a successful revolution would consist of a very large majority that would think alike and are brave alike. These people would outnumber those that they are revolting against.

The biafrans weren't the majority, they went to war against a large majority and they couldn't even feed themselves when food supplies were cut off. This is unlike the united revolutionary majority I am talking about. Like I have said,

If you have a degree in English or a teaching certificate in English and can speak English fluently without flaws then this is for you.
Many go to China for business not knowing that there are other golden opportunities in China. Chinese schools constantly recruits English teachers worldwide who have either a degree in English or TEFL/ESL/TESOL/CELTA, and at least 2 years teaching experience.
These schools pay a minimum of$700-$3500 per month depending on your qualification, experience and country. They also provide 2-3 years z-visa to work in their country, free accommodation, insurance, flight ticket, holiday allowance, etc. Currently there are over 3000 Nigerian teachers who are employed in China as teachers. Currently, about 42 schools are recruiting in Wuyan, Ghanzouhouz, Chenghai cities in China. To get top details and contact info on how to apply directly to these schools send me a PM . it is absolutely free .

SMH. A revolution, a revolution not riot. Well if Guevara and likes are sensible long term thinkers and brave, they would revolt. What's so unique about this age that makes revolution unreasonable and impossible?

Please dear Nigerian!! I need a job cause am going frustrated with this... Help a fellow Nigerian.!!!!

Op i am sorry about your current situation, but I believe we Nigeria youths are the cause of our problems, we want to earn fat pay checks. Please don't get me wrong, I would also love a big fat pay check. But the bitter truth is that almost without connection you cannot get that job without experience. The fact you have a 1:1 does not automatically guarantees a 100+ job after service. In the real world it doesn't work that way. Nigeria is a backward society, so to survive you have to develop a strategy. A typical Nigeria workplace setting is be below 25 you're employable without a proven working experience but once your age is more than that you're expected to have gotten a job experience, define your career path. You cannot just throw in your CV at any vacancy you see, I don't know anyone anywhere, I am the first graduate in my family (extended) I want you to understand where I am coming from, My first job was not all rosy at all but I did it for two years to get experience and while at it I enrol in a professional course in line with the career I am trying to build. So right now I have something to offer in the mind of the Nigeria employer.

There are jobs in Nigeria, just that their requirements is biased most times because they(employers) do not consider our economic situation. Travelling out is not the solution at all expect you have a well structured plan, the money that would be invested into travelling out should be invested in a mini business instead.

So my point is you had a big part to play for not having job for 6years, I am sure you turned down jobs because you feel it doesn't pay up to your level. While waiting for a white collar job, why not teach in a school and you can even develop yourself to the education career. I have attended up to 20 job interviews and turned down up to 7 interview invites over the last 4months. I applied on line for this jobs and not through anyone.

Right now I would advice you raise a small capital from family and friends and venture into a mini business because the bitter truth is expect you have job experience, being employed as a teacher or you're still below 26 and with a 2:1, It will be much difficult for you to get a job. There is no story God cannot change though but from experience I have stated this.

To all fresh graduate who will read this post, do not reject a job offer because you want a 6digit salary, to get a 6digit salary you must present yourself as one who is ready to earn it. After service, once you see a job that can take care of your transport and feeding take it and develop yourself. Don't feel comfortable, keep applying and interviews and before you know it you gotten your dream job latest 4years after graduation. This is better than sitting down doing nothing but waiting for God to bring the 6digits salary.

SORRY ABOUT ANY GRAMMATICAL AND SPELLING ERROR, I AM TOO LAZY TO PROOF READ.
