Please am tired of keeping it to myself, have graduated six years ago and yet no job. Am a sociology graduate with a good result due to hard work and dedication but after the struggle to graduate, only to graduate without a job for so long. Am yet to come to terms that's it's the course I read, maybe it's not a professional course.

So for the past 6 years, you've been believing that it's what you read in uni that will put food on your table?

Make I no talk pass this one

All I did was to draw an inference for him to understand.
He doesn’t have to stick to what he studied to make it in life. Not even in a society like NIGERIA.

I can understand your RAGE (insults), NIGERIANS are naturally harsh people, acquired via recurrent and perpetual Economic hardships

How does your sister cope with boredom and depression as a result of unemployment? And how does she survive with food, clothing and transportation for 10 years after graduation? She ought to have started a small business after waiting for too long for a job. It's never too late to start a small business.

Shebi when I am telling naija youths, dem go dey talk say I no know anything. How bad must things get before people realise that revolution is due in this country? How bad and disgraceful must the standard of living be before people begin to think in the long term and know what matters most? Is it until doctors start driving keke as side hustle that we will wake up? Revolution is not happening in this country because revolution can't be brought about by cowards and short sighted people. Revolution can't be brought about by people who love their skin and comfort and are full of vanity and instant gratification. Revolutionists are brave and intelligent men/women who can see the big picture and can suffer and lay their lives for a cause that will benefit future generations.

If you youths can't be united to see the big picture and start a revolution then they should shut up and stop whining. Your whining won't do an inch, highest thing you protest and when you are tired, you go home and life goes on--- nothing changes. If you doubt me, ask ASUU and JOHESU. Youths should realise that our politicians and top officials don't give a poo about them and are not ready to help. Stage a revolution or shut up. America is great today because certain men and women suffer and died for to make it what it is. They weren't just whining. At least you know Nelson Mandela who was imprisoned for 27 years and others who were killed while fighting the apartheid regime. Good things don't come easy because we live in a wicked and harsh world.

So if youth are not ready to revolt and be sensible, they should shut the fvck up and go and drive keke; sell bags of rich, beans and garri; do bricklaying, tailoring or carpentry work or enter petty trade & business after four solid years in the university or if they like they should be deceiving themselves with "god will make a way", "God will provide", "everything is in God's hands", "by the grace of God " rubbishes and garbages. Mtewwww. Nigerians being the cowards that they are would rather open churches and exploit their fellow Nigerians instead of revolt; they would rather traffick drugs and ruin the country's reputation than revolt; they would rather do yahoo yahoo than stage a revolution; they would rather protect politicians that give them peanuts rather than revolt etc. Why? They are cowardly, short sighted and instant gratification- driven to stage a revolution.

Nelson Mandela wouldn't have spent 27 years in prison if he wanted to save his skin. He wouldn't have been part of his movement in the first place or would have retracted his stance when forced to do so to avoid imprisonment. So op, take heart. There is keke to drive, danfo business to do, food stuff trading to do, bricklaying to do, dry cleaning business, recharge card business and a host of other things to do that are not related to your certificate. If you are still lucky, you might still get a great job. Take heart, I am a truth talker.

Lol. I am willing to stand but you and others will run away when a bullet is shot in the air and I will be a scapegoat and die for nothing. Revolution is not a one man's effort. It's the effort of a majority that think alike and are brave alike. Without this, the revolution will fade or certain individuals in the revolutionary group can be bribed to sell out on others. Besides did you see me whining?

lol. Spending many years unemployed doesn't increase one's chance at being employed. 8-10yrs unemployment cases are not uncommon. This is Nigeria.

You wouldn't be the scapegoat who died for nothing. You'll be the hero who died for his country. Who knows, that may be what we need to start a formidable revolution.

I would be a foolish brave if I would die for nothing. Besides you somehow left the part where I said revolution is not a one man's effort.

Lmao. I agree. One man can't do it alone. But the cause needs a fearless leader whose bravery ignites that of others and on whom the people can look up to. Look at Mandela
Guavera
Castro
Even Pinoche sef.

What a legacy it shall be to have your name on such a list. Then I can give interviews when am old about how great a man you were. I may probably even write a book. "The dawn of the New Nigeria"
