Lol. What you bought wasn't an original SanDisk. It was a software modified 2gb card. Always be careful when buying SanDisk. Lots of imitations out there.

look for any of these programs gui formatter or sd formatter. They are windows apps so you need a pc

Why not? I've used several phones before but not a Xiaomi. I was one of the first that took to unknown brands like UMI (now Umidigi) with their UMI Iron back then, Injoo Fire, Infinix Hot2 (AndroidOne version), Note2, Nokia XL and Tecno. I love sleek phones hence my pitching tent with Xiaomi. Umidigi would have been a force to reckon with but they treated their customers with disdain when they first released the UMI Iron and went on to abandon support for it. Instead they released the UMI Iron Pro ....I even at a time emailed them to setup shop through Jumia and Konga back then but they didn't mind me sef ...look at them now struggling for Nigerian market share.

Why not update it? Something might be broken on the current OS version you're using hence why they released one. Most of these issues can be corrected by running new updates.

You have to unlock bootloader to flash the global rom sir,

Takes about 2 weeks or less
