the truth, nothing else BUT THE TRUTH...YOU HAVE SAID IT ALL...THESE OLD MEN WE CALL LEADERS ARE PLAYING WITH OUR FUTURE,AND WE SEEM TO BE DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT,ONLY NATIONWIDE REVOLUTION WILL SAVE THE FUTURE OF YOUTHS(AM NOT TALKING OF YOUTHS AT HEART OO) IN THIS COUNTRY...THEIR KIDS ARE ABROAD STUDYING,WHEN THEY GRADUATES,THEY PUT THEM INTO JUICY POSITIONS IN CBN,NNPC,EFCC,DSS AND SEVERAL INTERNATIONAL OIL DRILLING AND SERVICING COMPANIES,WHILE A GRADUATE IN NIGERIA AFTER NYSC IS LEFT AT THE MERCY OF WHATEVER HE OR SHE BELIEVES IN,HONESTLY I DONT KNOW WERE THIS JOKE OF A COUNTRY IS HEADING TO...
Gbam! People are yet to realise how revolution would be important in this country. They don't even have the bravery, unity and intellect to start and sustain one. People should realise that if they and their descendants are going to have a good life in Nigeria, they are going to work for it and no bloody god is going to help them out.

We revolutionists know that revolution(by a large majority of people that think alike and are brave alike) works because no body is born powerful. Power is by consent and legislation is a human construct that is powerless if it can't be enforced. How can a small group of corrupt leaders force justice of a large revolutionary mass? If Vladimir Putin soldiers corner him and point ak47s at him, what can he do? Power is by consent.

I don't pray that time comes.

Things are tough and hard already.

But if things keep getting bad, then the alternative will be to get a means of escape.

Oga no you're wrong. To borrow words from you

"Revolutionists are brave and intelligent men/women who can see the big picture and can suffer and lay their lives for a cause that will benefit future generations."

You wouldn't be the scapegoat who died for nothing. You'll be the hero who died for his country. Who knows, that may be what we need to start a formidable revolution.
No mind the keyboard warior. grin
I'm sure he is on his couch taking some coffee typing this grin >:

no disrespect oh but that's too bad for a graduate na

I'm sure she is one of those waiting for ' miracle jobs'

These pastors won't tell you 100% they will only tell you the juicy part. Even they too work very hard o. years spent ,reading ,networking ,praying and fasting . They even neglect their wives just to have focus and success but will be deceiving children of God.

I'm really angry that an able bodied Nigerian lady is still at home and comfortable eating mummy's food

your parents are really sweet people some parents would have frustrated the hell out of their kids already

even internship his better than just sitting at home

what can she do well ? we can look for a skill for her and strategize on how she can make money from that skill
actually this whole thing was the parents fault, Firstly on my parent's side for raising us pathologically, secondly It's the fault of all parents in Nigeria for being nonchalant about the future of the Nigerian children, just look at our government systems from The very beginning, no plan whatsoever for the future. Thanks for your concern really, I appreciate. Luckily she just got a job with a low pay but she's excited anyways, it's her first job ever and she really don't care about the pay, she'll get exposure from there I hope, she has been a good hard-working girl, I watched her since I was a kid and admire how hardworking she is(first born instincts). There is another, also accounting but in education it's being 3 years after graduation without a job still, so tell me about that Skill

And yea, my Parents are far from "sweet people" and about Mum's food; my sis does a lot of house chores and the food thing too, she's the absolute opposite of a "slay queen"

I feel so sad about what is happening to our Nigeria graduates after school, even though i am currently an undergraduate, I am beginning to regret while I went to the University, the kind of hardship I have been facing this past few years all just because I want to be a graduate and better my life tomorrow, but all the stories I am seeing is really making me feel that I might just be experiencing the beginning of hardship, I am currently depressed always nursing suicidal thoughts in my mind, though I just wish I had learnt a skill or venture into business before going to school, all my friends back then who didn't even consider schooling are doing well for them selves, I am in my finals, I don't really know what to do because things are so difficult for me right now....
Hunger, no good clothes, no single one naira in the acct, and I am seeing all these comments, so pessimistic about how tomorrow might be after graduation, if actually I graduate, no money to finish up now self, life is not fair to an average Nigerian
I wish someone will just help me, the burden is just too much for me.....
Going to school in Nigeria seems like a fraud,

Hmmm

I truly happy for her .

I already know she isn't one of those who sleep with men for money.

Life isn't easy but its possible if you believe and keep trying

No skill will work without 100% commitment of the person involved.

If she's not good with particular skill like cooking ,sewing, hairdressing

Then she can buy clothes shoes and hair and go and sell in schools

All she must ensure is that she has a good rapport with the female students

Girls love new stuff

When I was in school, I know a woman who bought a car from makeup sales we called her 'sexymakeup'

She had a unique way of calling out her products like those bread and fish sellers inghe streets and everybody liked her because she was friendly.

Just find something for the porters.

Tell her this:

There is no shyness in making money, because those people who laugh at you will not be there to borrow you money when you want to die of hunger
Thanks a lot, I appreciate all what uve said. I'll try to do what I can to help my siblings. Not easy to come by someone with so much positivity like u in this Decayed country, God bless your hustle plenty
