Advice: How Do I Handle This Issue? by CEOconcord(m): 3:00pm On Sep 10, 2018
Please, my dad's appointment was terminated after years of service while he was still hospitalized. Unfortunately, we lost him eventually last June while still in the hospital.

Fast forward till now, recently, his terminal benefit was calculated and the institution issued a check to him in that regards alongside his official termination letter.

NB: We lost our mother (his wife) some years before his demise.

Question: Now that my Mother is the next of kin and she is no more, how do we go about the issue? What are the requirements we need to fulfil to access the benefits. I'm about to take permission from my place of work to travel and process the benefits but I don't know exactly the requirements and how long it will take.

Kindly help me with answers based on knowledge or experience. Bankers could importantly be of immense help.

NB: I'm the first son among his only two children

Thanks

Am no lawyer so get yourself one

Its their job .

All I know is that you need to provide proof of your mother's death as part of the process

Your siblings must be united.

Lawyers please help out..

Or anyone who has experienced such can explain better.
