Third picture by the left. That officer like a US SOF, does anyone know where he's from?

Several specialized units here today. It's safe here. It's safe when the COAS is around grin

Yes, they're navy.

I was here. Let me check if my pictures are online grin
Is it a coincidence that they were conducting opps there?

I remember you said AFSF and “other special forces” responded quickly to the attack in Gudumbali grin

or do SBS personnel now form part of the COAS personal protection detail?

Thread by Brenda Uji on her recent visit to Gudumbali. I guess the Chief is army staff took press along on his visit.

“*The news from Gudumbali was worrisome, conflicting. So when I got a chance to join in a trip to Gudumbali again, I embraced it eagerly. What did we see?
*The town isnt taken over by BH. We were welcomed by hundreds of excited residents. Most of them never left during the attack

*None of the residents was killed. None at all. It was such a relief to hear that. There were attacks on troops location though. Casualty/Fatality? Minor to none. Details are complicated in this case!! But soldiers are well deployed in and around Gudumbali.

The Gudumbali attack left many worried, and the reported casualty figures were chilling. It turns out, thanks to God, it wasn't entirely true. Many kudos also to the resilient people of Gudumbali, and the tireless troops who keep going back to fight for us all. #LafiyaDole“

BOKO HARAM has planned attacks on the COAS before:
" let just say it has been very costly for them"
of all COAS that bh has faced ( 2009-PRESENT)
bh hate BURATAI with a pathological hatred ,
The feeling is mutual and he has personally made them pay.

Disinformation is as deadly as "Allahu Akbar" screaming imps!
Is the Army trying to lose on the PR front? Only time will tell

I read the news on Sahara reporters, the online news stuff is not well detailed enough.

Any new development about it will be relayed but don't use your both eye to sleep ... grin
Especially for you guys in Borno south .

Probably NA SF/commandos sort of huh
those are personal/close protection duties for the COAS...

they're providing inner perimeter protection... look closely you'll see the outer layer protection on the soft-skin pickup trucks.

That's a Navy SBS commando deployed in the area. As we all know, the Navy SBS is Nigeria's most proficient fighting unit.

The Navy guy only happened to be providing security in the area. The army chief has his own security attached, all from the Army.

Been vigilant is the key. And that's an HUMINT intellegence that shouldn't be neglected, I pray our top commanders learns from Gundumbali.

Although BHT as changed tactics there not after taking lives(soldiers or civilian) unless if stood by her way. They are just after weapons, ammunition, logistic & food supply.

But on thing that is certain is BHT is going to strike soon again.

Dude you are so dull!!!

It's incredible, i have never seen.

You lack basic independent thinking.

The photo below was shared by you. Can you not clearly see that, the operator with the COAS is dressed/kitted in the same fashion as this exact photo you shared.

Look at the boot, the helmet, uniform.

Damn you're dull!
was there a need for all this huh
