Let kemi save her own.

Nigeria's foreign reserves was practically created by NOI in the obj administration from practically nothing.
The sovereign wealth fund was also her idea.

We have seen NOI save and multiply Nigeria's wealth .

Let us see kemi save. Instead the reserves are falling and debts are rising.
so how much did aunty puff puff saved from 51 trillions naira nigeria made from crude oil proceed under her watch

That electricity you are talking about, with Technical Education and Business Grants, people will develop Small, Medium & Large scale solutions to it.

So idyllic not so?

I'm sorry to say, but you are not practical.

Watch the Men Who Built America if you truly seek answer to your question.

Start with the people first by giving them Technical Education and Finance in order to enable them build the wealth that will empower them to build quality infrastructures.

No Govt can build all the infrastructures needed by a society without the people getting involved in building the needed infrastructures through their own wealth.

i watched the.men who built America and i must attest to this... the founding fathers mentioned in there had the love of the country at heart.. they were not partisan and biased... America firsth and they used their resources and wealth to develop the country ... though they were capitalist in nature.but they all come together to make the American dream a reality. from andrew carnegie steel,to rockefeler oil, ford motors etc..these people cant be compared to our own selfish and self centred rich people.. i think the unity and spirit of patroitism is the answer to our challenges...

Coming from an "Amina Mohammed" has disarmed the noisemaking zombies from speaking.
But hey, replace a Harvard-trained, World Bank executive with a forged certificate accountant, this is what you will get. No surprises here.

Please Sir I beg to differ. While good infrastructure can catalyze economic growth, it doesn't create it. Training, people, and money (empowerment) can generate the funds we need to even fund infrastructure. Before the roads and light n rails came, people trained and traded and from those monies, they were able to get themselves niceties, and equip themselves with better infrastructure for bountiful trade. I think if we train and empower people, we can get monies via trade and taxation to develop our infrastructure.
Pls don't be angry o, I know nairaland is filled with hot tempered people now.
Actually it goes both ways, if you just train people without providing the necessary infrastructure like a good transport network, effective broad band/internet speed, and Power( most especially), then you would have many frustrated by the Nigerian system.
Education is paramount, but education alone do not create home grown investors in the private sector.
There is of course, what we call the ease of doing business which is also paramount.
We do not pay our taxes in Naija for the Government to just train people, we pay taxes for them to provide and maintain basic amenities.
Even the private investors like Dangote feel the effects of lack of infrastructure like power and rail all the time.

how is she going to relief nigeria of debt when major source of forex fall from 120 to 25 .
should kemi be printing dollars to sustain an spend thrift economy which madam okonjo was already told us to brace up for hard times when under her watch nigeria was borrowing to pay salaries when crude was at 78$.
okonjo inheritted more than 47 billions dollars in foreign reserve when crude oil was 100 to 140 for two and half years she never saved a penny and foreign reserve was depleted .and left huge debt ranging from subsidy and federal govt contractors . kemi with meagre resources was able to clear the mess and grow foregin reserve.

kemi deserves accolades
U just open ur mouth and say rubbish. Do u know the work of foreign. Reserve?

Even Nigeria does not owe that much right now under this calamitous government..

That is bigger than your foreign reserves.

China is about taking over Zambia's electrical company ( Nigeria's equivalent is PHCN) over a default on a loan. What do you think Nigeria used as collaterals for her loans/debts? What is sad is that people justify these huge debts because of the huge debts portfolio of developed nations. Debt is bad. Heaven will not fall if any African nation sets the pace as a debt-free nation. But we have been conditioned to believe that if it done by the West, it must be good. And some people love to argue with their keyboards that blacks have functional brains.

I agree that both are important, but I just wanted to point out that human capacity development should be of high importance. HCD without infrastructure can still generate an income albeit slowly, but cool infrastructure without HCD leads to youth redundancy. I'm saying this because there seems to be so much emphasis on infrastructural development (long term projects) and little emphasis on shorter projects (human capacity development) now and it is worrisome.

olodo fish head Governors protested when aunty noi was busy spending from eca account without informing co owners.

Provide the Supreme court ruling that said the money should be shared?? Ode

What did federal govt did with the 52% they got from the eca crude oil account

Mind you foreign reserve is different from excess crude oil account. Olodo jati jati

They share excess crude oil account so what happened to foreign reserve why was it depleted ??despite oil boom

Did governors also collect abacha loot return from aunty ngozi what did they do with it

Your Number 3 contradicts your assertion

Infrastructure improves GDP, oga

If we have basic amenities, many people wouldn't be looking for jobs

Do you know the number of people who have closed shops and are now looking for jobs because we don't have steady power?

There's nothing wrong with a government borrowing to bridge the gap of infrastructure deficit

But any government that wants to borrow must spend the money judiciously and must have a repayment plan
Stop confusing yourself. Leakages must be blocked from all angles and emphasis must be laid on people being productive in conducive and fair environment. You can't create an artificial billionaire out of Dangote by shielding him from competition and expect the system to grow.
How do you then rate the sharing of money and food to lazy folks when we don't have a working refinery to help block leakages? Isn't that misplaced priority?
