In ancient times , with poor knowledge of science the men could not explain why different men have so much differences in their emotions . Some are kind while others are wicked , temperamental etc They coined the term' spirit' to denote a kind of unseen force that controls men . The soul is thus spirit and body ....but these are terms for poor knowledge. Your spirit is your active mental state . Hence , when a man is raised in a loving environment, he is more likely to be loving too and calm.
In conclusion Your spirit is determined by your brain which in turn is determined by information it gets and store as you grow into a man .

Human means humus man or dust man. Mans body was fashioned from the dust of the ground. According to Genesis 1, God made man in his image after his likeness.

Gods image is the spirit. Jesus told us that God is a spirit.

Man is has a spirit but is not spirit. Man has a spirit, and soul and lives in a body.

Hebrews 4 vs 12 connects the whole three parts of man.

It is only the word of God that divides the soul and spirit, it also touches on human body parts the joint and marrow.

The mind is the intellect, emotions, reasoning etc. The mind is not saved but gets transformed and renewed through the word of God.

Then the body is never saved, but when the mind is renewed and the spirit is in charge. The body will submit to the spirit.

But those saved, that is those redeemed by Jesus blood will put on a new body, it is that same body that Jesus has right now in heaven.

Man is an eternal being. In the resurrection some Will resurrect to life while some will resurrect to death. The difference is those Jesus redeemed by his blood.

Jesus is the only way to life.

If humans was spirit leaving inside a body, what about animals, what makes animals alive since they don't have spirit. And what's the point of having a brain heart kidney and other tissues, like animals, since we don't need them as it is the spirit that's making us survive and not those tissues.

Or how about the man that died and Elisha bones brought to life or the boy and girl Jesus brought to life or the the widow Peter brought to life, why is it that none have any knowledge of their experience in heaven or hell?

Now to my questions OP. You gave a detailed definition of 'spiritual' as highlighted above but failed to do same for carnal. How do you comprehensively define 'carnal'?

Again, can't someone be 'sritually godly' and still crave for the things of the flesh? For example, what's wrong if a godly man craves for beer or consensual sex? Why should anybody be burnt in fire forever because of consensual sex that hurts nobody?

Why is it so difficult for you religious folks to accept that when we die, we just stop existing just like every other animals? The trinity theory is just a disingenuous way of explaining how man can can still exist after death and face some kind of cruelty or sweet heavenly judgement. It makes no sense.
