If truly Saraki is the son of his dead father NASS should resume plenary this week. I won't say more than that.

four years ago when Tambuwal defected and retained the speakership it was good for democracy according to Lai Mohammed. Four years ago Rochas Okorocha left APGA to APC he did not resign; he was praised. Now the table has turned against them and it is now a threat to democracy. The APC people are hypocrites disguising as progressives.

ADIEU TO THE BEST FINANCE MINISTER IN RECENT TIMES.

For nearly the whole of today, the story of Mrs Kemi's resignation as the Minister if Finance trended the online media. Although, credible among them also carried the story, I remain cautious, especially when a conflicting news followed some few hours later.

Now, just a few minutes ago, the President's spokesman, Adesina, made a release to the effect that the President has accepted the resignation of his Minister of Finance, resting the controversy raging for this whole day. In the letter to the President, she gave her reasons as having got caught in a fake certificate saga which trended for sometime now.

She told the President that she got her first Nigerian passport at the age of 34, having been born, bred and educated in Europe where her family is based. Upon arrival in Nigeria, she asked for the procedure of remedying her lacking of serving under the compulsory NYSC since she was already past the mandatory 30 year age. And she was then, advised to apply for the exemption certificate, which she did.

In the letter, she told the President that she presented the same certificate to her state legislature where she served as a commissioner then; the same certificate to the DSS and the same certificate later, to the National Assembly. She said she was shocked to find out that the certificate issued her by the NYSC was fake as she had no capacity to ascertain its genuineness in the first instance. Hence she is now taking this decision as a path of honour.

Whatever the case may be, one thing is instructive here. A precedence has been established where honour now counts in service and in governance. It is not easy to let go when you are enmeshed in the goodies of power, especially in a country such as ours. Some people were confirmed before to have done worse offence and have not let go. She has let go even when she was obviously and innocently shortchanged.

No doubt, the present administration has lost a resource who has done much of the pride this administration flaunts as its major achievements in the last three years. Some of her major achievements included the prompt and strict implementation of the Treasury Single Account, along with the BVN, which greatly minimised official theft and fiscal responsibility in spending public funds.

She has also succeeded in saving a major crisis in the economy by cohesively organising the FIRS and the Customs and Excise which generated at least 60% of government revenue, swelling the Federation Account with necessary funds for us to survive, especially during the biting recession of the year 2015/2016. Under her watch, the Nigerian pensioners, gratuities, and similar abandoned empowerments were critically addressed. state governments also smiled away with Paris Club disbursements in various tranches.

Madam, as you move out of Government, probably back to Europe where you were groomed and where you inadvertently, acquired your exemplary discipline in government, I urge you to continue treading the path of honour. This government has a duty of fishing out the criminals who duped this fine personality and landed her in this big embarrassment, costing us her enormous wealth of knowledge, wisdom, courage and experience and finesse. Until you are vindicated, adieu to the best Finance Minister in recent times.

Mr. Saraki, please be informed that the Oyinbo man who made the pencil, also made the eraser, and so shall it be with those who elected you clandestinely and mischievously to become president of the senate.

Furthermore, your resumption date is not cast in stone, and there's always the Doctrine of Necessity for you to have to resume before your earlier planned date in the interest of the nation. In any case, remember you eloped on "vacation" a whole two working days before your originally planned date to do so, and even as critical Bills and issues were before you? So, just resume first.

One thing: You claiming you and your cohorts are in the the majority in the NASS, exposes you as a blatant liar. You - and even the marines who've not been onshore - know you're not.

Anyways, just resume first.

The man saraki is always fame in his words. He think with critical analysis of the situations before he talk. I advise you to save your strength till Nass resumes then you may impeach him. You went to court to force the senate doors open against the planned date and failed. Failure is your hallmark in this whole drama. Saraki is stronger than everyone and everything APC.

majority of the SW dislike Saraki, Fayose, Jimi Agbaje, Femi Kayode

but expect the SE to massively support Rochas, Ngige, Ogbonnaya Onu, Orji Kalu

APC is AG, (NNA), UPN, AD, ACN

PDP is NCNC, (UPGA), NPP, APP, APGA

this S rivalry may never end.

more than 2 parties brings tribalism.

in 1960 NPC, NCNC and AG

in 1979 NPN, NPP, UPN, PRP and GNPP

in 1999 PDP, APP and AD

the best a country had is SDP and NRC!
