Good morning fam. Please I have a little concern with regards to my reference letter.

Firstly, the words 'full time' was not stated in the letter but the number of working hours (40hours/week) was mentioned.

Secondly, I don't know if the date mentioned qualifies for one year (eg 23 March 2017- 11 March 2018).

These two issues have been bothering me. Please I would appreciate your kind advise.
Thanks

Hi guys. Pls I want to ask,
Must your business name bear the same as the one on the CAC cert? Example, I registered my business name using 'soso multibiz' cos I was am planning to venture into many things. But right now I'm focused on one and that's what I plan to use as my NOC. The business I'm doing now bears 'soso builders'. Will it raise any issues?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 7:58am On Sep 17, 2018
The hours stated on working hours has covered full-time.

For the second, see below attachments:

It adds up to 354 days and 242 working days, but the criteria also states that 1,560 hours is required.

You can assess yourself using the below links:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html
https://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html

POST MODIFIED: Since IRCC does not count any hours after 30hrs per week, the time period might not fly as being up to 1yr. Has anyone used a period less than exactly 1 or 2yrs and gotten PPR? Not sure. You might need to wait and add to your working experience.

Hello everyone! I am an Extremely silent reader and I mist say from reading from the beginning of Part 1 through 3or 4, I was able to get my creds evaluated, studied and passed my IELTS in my first sitting , created EE profile and submitted application in July. My score was 437 and so, I'm one of those of us praying and waiting for draw scores to drop to 430s.
I would like to ask a couple of questions though:
1. Will evaluating a second Master's degree and updating on my profile increase my scores?
2. My IELTS scores were L8.5,R8.5, W8 and S8 and my Band score is 8.5. However, I've been feeling my overall band score should be higher, shouldn't it? I guess if it's higher I could get more points too, right?

Please all the gurus in the house ( I know say una plenty) abeg help me. Thanks!

Did you write with British Council or MOD?

My opinion:
You mustn’t necessarily do business in the name you registered the company.
If you can show that the name of your company is “soso multibiz”, Doing Business As “soso builders” that should suffice.
It is common for companies to do business in names other than their registered names.

What if he has applied to US in the past and used his banking job?

This could be a possibility but USA and Canada share just basic biometric and biographic information of applicant alone.

I have a strong feeling its either SM or POF.

Let's all be careful. That's the whole point of that story. Query every advise you get. Do what is right so that you can sleep at night. Nobody should have to suffer the pain of going through a rejection at the edge of breakthrough or at any point in an application.
That guy will most likely get a ban and that will forever be on his record. For something that could easily have been avoided! cry

You just said it all. Do what can afford you a sound sleep at night.

1) No
2) No cos you've maxed out IELTS.

You can do TEF or pray for draw to reduce to your score. No sibling in Canada?

Based on your post and it makes sense, it is the actually no of days, not working days. No reference to working days on IRCC website anyway. So 354 days gives 50 weeks and 3/4 days.

That means it is not up to the 1560 hrs required.

Is your wife the PA? Is she a practising Pharmacist? Did she evaluate her degree? Did she do the evaluation through PEBC?

These questions need answers to get a better and informed response.

None as far as I know. Your Nigerian drivers license does the needful. The IDL is only valid as long as your normal license is valid anyway.
