Polygamy never went extict. It just went from overt to covert. Hence baby mama's trends. Men and women lend helping hand to it for it to be really successful. Its was not a one party push so to speak. Women sometimes are more naturally attracted to the most wealthy powerfull or famous men and won't mind if he has a family already. Men who are powerful, famous or financially strong want multiple women on their part maybe to consolidate their position, statues or something.
Whatever the reason, there is already a consensus.
