This is to tell you that we lack the right education in this country. We aren't taught entrepreneurship in our schools which is why most Nigerians don't know what to do with money. Supposing this kind of person gets into political positions, they will end up embezzling our money.

you know it is sad, that in a forum like this, someone will ask a very reasonable question and all he'll be getting is total gibberish...
well, its a good thing that you've been able to save up to that amount.... let me give you some few business insights, maybe you choose one....
The time of harvesting Yams is coming, from next month to December you can buy yams from Niger state (Mutum Data yam market) and sell to prospective buyers in your location or anywhere that the price is high...
you can also buy unprocessed rice from Kwoi in Kaduna state, around November-December, a bag goes for about 10-12k and sell for 25-35k BTW March-July..
you can buy beans in Masaka area of Nasarawa state, in December a bag of hundred mudus goes for 20-25k, and after storage can go for 40-45k....
then palm oil

Don't think of quitting your job because of that small amount. In this #buhari era, 300k is too small to start anything meaningful. So, keep saving until it reaches at least, 500k before thinking of where and what to invest in.

u can do alot with 300k, open a barbing saloon and hire someone, go into laundry, polythene bag business, open a provision shop, sell keke spare parts, or motor parts, if u have small space go into snail rearing, buy bail and sell clothes or nack one table and sell men wears after buying from onitsha

Things plenty, just think and holla me when u pick one

since you're going to resign.
1. you can open a viewing center. It brings in crazy money as nigerians are die hard football fans
2. if yu have the skill, open a barbing saloon.
3. start rearing broilers. you can buy like 100 and increase from there.
4. if you're in the north, start rearing goats and export to other parts of the country.
