Popular singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has reacted to the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declaring the just-concluded governorship election in Osun State inconclusive.

Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke is the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate in the election.

INEC said Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, polled about 254,698 ahead of Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who garnered 254,345 votes.

This decision followed cancellation of votes in Orolu Local Government, Ife South LG, Ife North LG and Osogbo LG resulting.

However, reacting, Davido who had earlier raised the alarm that INEC planned to declare the election as inconclusive because there were cancellations and violence in some polling units, assured that there would be victory at last.

He wrote, ”Desperate for Democracy, Victory is certain which ever way ..God’s plan �� issokay.”

Rightly said Davido, any reasonable nephew will go to whatever lenght to see his uncle victorious in a context like this. Your uncle has really tried, he seems to be the most successful unknown politician I ever seen. He came to the limelight only after the demise of his brother (Isiaka) and denial of the senatorial ticket by the APC, but the way he's going he can even defeat the president if he contests against him.


Pls tell him to give us a new dancing step to mock his opponents.
