Most of you guys on nairaland comments ignorantly. Do you even know why a Omisore left PDP for SDP? Do you know the role the late Adeleke played in 2014 Osun guber election against Omisore? Are you aware that Omisore knows he can't win the Osun governorship election but he contested just to play a spoiler role against PDP's Adeleke? So many funny comments on nairaland. That's how someone suggested that PDP should give the senatorial ticket of Adeleke who is from the Western part of Osun to Omisore who his from Osun Central. Let's just wait till Thursday before we conclude 12 Likes |

Good to know. That ought to have been the arrangement right from the on set. It would have been over for APC now, imagine the over 100K votes garnered by Omisore of SDP plus over 254K votes of Senator Ajobiewe Adeleke of PDP. PDD will carry the day eventually. 1 Like 1 Share |

chiedozie198100: The guy is right. Omisore is from Osun East. Adeleke represents Osun West Ahmed did not replace the ogun slot of Adeosun, she only took over her position in the ministry of finance. Ogun slot will still be filled but the nominee may not be posted to finance ministry. Osun State slot is not vacant, the minister of health is from Osun. 2 Likes |

I'm APC but I think the Osun election as well as Ekiti election is a signal to most Governors that nobody values flyovers, school buildings and beautification above ability to live. By that I mean payment of salaries and pensions. Why use civil servants salaries to build infrastructure and subject them to untold hardship? This is applicable to Rochas Okorocha who is owing pensioners without remorse and Nyesom Wike who is owing Local Government workers for 6 straight months as well as pensioners without remorse. When you lose next year also understand that your projects and beautifications is useless to a hungry man. 2 Likes |

AllTheWayUp: I throw in my towels. Congrats to PDP, it's won and loss. To me, the result is a big statement to the godfathers that the electorates has the final decision. Jagaban softly softly. Amosu be ready for a shocker in ogun state. Ajumobi should be prepared too. Both of you think you can switch any position you want in your respective state. No problem but we the electorates have the final say. Thanks to Card Reader Machine, ee gboorun ara yin. |

ugo4u: Your assertions not totally right. 1. Adeleke and Omisore are not in the same senatorial district so he can't be promised the seat. He might be given the opportunity to contest his Senatorial district though, but that will be a tough 50/50 fight. 2. The Ministerial seat cannot be used as Osun already has an indigene sitting minister, even if he he's offered he won't take because the administration is about ending. 3. He can't take a Ministerial appointment unless he decamps to APC something he wouldn't do. I go for your third move in a modified way. PDP and APC will try to solicit for the support of Omisore to have his voters to vote for them. Omisore will enhanced by each of them, promising to deliver. Meanwhile, the first enhancement will be in financial form and the concluding part of the bargain will be in kind (That will be difficult for us to guess) Omisore will then fold his arms does nothing, then wait for either of them to win, come forward claiming he has done the job claiming the other part of the bargain which will be in kind. Omisore will make a fortune without doing nothing. But the truth is this, although Omisore left PDP out of bitterness, he will remain an enemy to AD/ACN/APC that denied him Governorship for 20 years. His supporters will likely vote for PDP rather than their Arch-enemy APC. He was one of the founding fathers of AD before they betrayed him and was framed for Murder. I followed Omisore's politics since 1999, his loyalists are not ppl that has ever decamped since he decamped from AD to PDP in 2003. Either he stays a dummy or he engages, he's still the most sort after. He has definitely hit a Jackpot 4 Likes |

Tareq1105:Amosun. The way the electorates in Ogun would so deal with him. He would only get support from Abeokuta. The Sango, Ojodu area and other border towns with Lagos are the most populated areas in the state, and for some reason he choose to neglect these areas. All he did was destroy their properties without compensation and made their roads motorable. I am glad the electorates votes now counts. No more enduring mediocrity government. |
