Babyvet:

To qualify for the i245,

A petition for classification under section 204 of the Act (on Form I-130, I-140, I-360, or I-526)
which was properly filed with the Attorney General on or before April 30, 2001, and which was approvable when filed;

(ii) The term “properly filed” means:

With respect to a qualifying immigrant visa petition, that the application was physically received on or before April 30, 2001, or if mailed, was postmarked on or before April 30, 2001, and accepted for filing.

Why are you talking about form i-245 when we're discussing about form N-600 ( Certificate of Citizenship) ?

Madam you love arguing unnecessarily...

Even after everything has been explained properly to you.

Please go download the form N-600 as well as filing instructions then come back & argue.
Nope , we are not stupid . I don’t need to download crap. I got my information right the USCIS website .I asked a simple question. Why did you apply for f1 visa?

That's not crap

That's the form used to apply for derivative citizenship

If you can't download a simple form that answers your question then I don't owe you any form of explanation?

You do not qualify for the n - 600. You have to be under 18 when they filed for citizenship for you . You just can’t apply at any time. You posts contradict either other , why did you apply for student visa if you know you were a beneficiary .

Please explain ?
He went to USA on tourist visa and after he was here, his dad decided to file for him and he went straight to citizen. And he was over 18 at the time.

I have looked at the form . Answer simple question , if you intended to immigrate to the us and had the beneficiary to do so why did you apply for student visa?

I know how to read it’s states the same thing that I posted . I asked him a simple question why didn’t he apply for that first instead of f1.
He may not have known. My husband was on bad terms with his dad so he never asked. His dad did it to mend the rift and actually do something for him.

Citizenship law has changed over the years and different laws apply to determine whether you automatically became a U.S. citizen at birth, or after birth but before you turned 18 years of age. If you are claiming U.S. citizenship based on your birth abroad to U.S. citizen parents, the law in effect on the date of your birth applies. For purposes of these provisions, you must be the biological child of your U.S. citizen parent, and different provisions apply depending on whether you were born in wedlock or out-of-wedlock.
If you are claiming U.S. citizenship after birth, but before you reached 18 years of age, the law in effect when the last qualifying condition was met is the law that applies to you. Generally, the conditions are listed below.
These conditions must be met before you turn 18 years of age:
1. Your parent must be a U.S. citizen;
2. You must be the biological child of that U.S. citizen parent;
3. You must be lawfully admitted to the United States for lawful permanent residence; and
4. You must be living in the United States in the legal and physical custody of your U.S. citizen

If the child does not qualify then child has to go through the regular family petition that requires green card first then they can file for citizenship.

I have told you several times that you don't have to be under 18 years when you file for a form N-600.

But continue arguing...

Ain't get time for that...

I'm heading to work but once I'm back I will dissect your questions one by one.

It seems you have a little difficulty understanding little concepts.

No, you don't..

You can be above 18 years and still file for a form N-600.

Take it from someone that has gone through the process.

So I was going through your thread "Rick kids of Miami" (because it is a public forum and because I can).

There is a lot of things about your posts that points to outright misinformation and making up stories.

I don't wanna say you're lying particularly about your immigration process. It's just so weird. Almost doesn't make any sense.

Good luck to you bro.

Could you explain how that happened? Derivative Citizenship for kid older than 18 (if the birth of the kid wasn't registered with USCIS/US embassy)

You can go over to my thread and point out the misinformation that way we don't deviate from the purpose of this particular thread.

I read through it too and he has contradictory stories. He was talking about his rich kids of Miami and then on here , he is talking about getting a TSA job at the Airport.

Don't people from rich families work at a job?

I also run two separate businesses from home.

I don't really understand your question?

I just showed you that it's possible to go from F-1 to U.S. Citizen.

That has been the basis of our argument today.

Lucas, some of the post you make on here are very questionable . Owing a business does not make you rich. But I would not consider some working at TSA to be a rich person because according to your post , they make around $16 per hour which is by no means rich by any standard in this country. That’s the problem with Nigerians, we like to overinflate things and create false fantasies about abroad , which is why our country will not be great in addition to our bad leaders.

Stop twisting my words.

I never said I work in TSA.

I did say that I have considered getting a job as a TSA agent since I was bored at home

I'm currently self employed & I run two home based businesses.

Being rich is subjective.

You can define it & then we can go from there.

Baba na God o...

I’m usually involved in so many things.

I do Forex Trading, Spread Betting, Stock & Currency Manipulation.

I’m also into importation of cars as well as Fabric, leather & Textile.

I have friends that do Yahoo Yahoo & Ali but it’s somehow risky so I don’t really partake.

Imagine waking up to a $200,000 transfer to your bank account early in the morning and taking a 20% cut {$40,000} before forwarding the rest of the money to the destination point.

Like I said it’s Good Money but way too risky.

I also partake in high yield investment programs as well as crypto currency but I can’t discuss those here to avoid getting banned by Moderators.

Abeg carry your wahala go somewhere else...

First, you said I was lying about being a U.S. citizen & I proved you wrong.

Now, you're now talking about being involved in Fraud.

Ain't got time for all that.

All my money are legit.

So please take your wahala to somewhere else...

I have way more important things to do with my time.

Weren't you the same person that accused someone of lying about their citizenship couple of hours ago?

Exactly same thing you said about everybody and their Papa are U.S. Citizens & you were proven wrong.

Abeg leave me jor...
