Nigerian popstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, who has been active in this election process given his family relations to Senator Ademola Adeleke, his uncle, has however through his Twiter page thrown heavy shades at top broadcasting companies in Nigeria, AIT and Channels TV.

Although some of his followers agree in his tirade against the media houses, a few others have chalked up his concern to his biased feelings given his uncle is an aspirant.

Davido, they cant show it because, NBC will soom pounce on them. Mind you, they already have a running battle with the FG already and since the outcome is already predictable, why dwell on a non orofitable matter. Showing it wont change the outcome of the elections cause its already planned.

Nigerian are the biggest losers cos they allowed tyranny to prevail and that which they allow out of fear and intimidation, will keep haunting them till they stand up for their rights

I was surprised to switch to Channels TV & AIT, yesterday and today and to my surprise, none was covering the supplementary election, like they did on the 23rd; was it deliberate or was there a directive that they should stay away so as to ensure there is no credible evidence that would capture the rape that took place in Osun state?
Any true and objective Nigerian will agree that what happened in Osun wasn't an election.
Let the truth be told, what is happening isn't political, it's deeper and the fate of a nation is hinged on this; this is an agenda being orchestrated to make Nigeria a one religion state. let's be guided..

Some of those abducted have started having diarrhea, malaria and other diseases. Some were vomiting constantly and became weak. The abductors then opted for another trick, they got another set of cash to buy another set of people but they were not allowed to enter any polling unit apart from one in Orolu and as they were distributing cash, they were chased away by the people who were opposed to them. They opted for another trick, some of their canvasers with bags of money pretended to be observers but the security agents busted that too.
It was hectic for democracy yesterday but democracy still triumphs.

Yet, the same people want a better nation. Nigeria is just a country filled up with cowards waiting to die another day. People see things that are wrong but choose not to talk about it or challenge it cos they fear they'd get killed. Yet, they sit and hope for liberation someday in the nearest future. If everyone decides to take the cowardice route and coil up under the shelve, I wonder how freedom/liberation would be achieved.

You want them to devote two full days for an election in what is at best, a back-water state?

Election coverage is a service that is neither sponsored nor paid for. The time they use to air the election is the time they could have used to air sponsored programs. That is apart from expenses incurred in sending their staff to the field. They don’t get subventions, how will they foot their bills?

Government owned media can afford such luxury, for private owned ones, that is economically unwise.

The system is so corrupt,politics is different from entertainment.The common man has no one to cry his injustice to,Davido should see the plights of common man in Nigeria from this,if with 30 billion for the account can't give him and his family political recognition,what did he think of the ordinary man in the society,this is why i like musicians/entertainers/celebrities that talk about societal injustice and vices.He is always about money,love,sex and he turned blind eyes to the plight of the less priviledged,whatever goes around comes around,the table has turned and he is now feeling the heat.He should enjoy the moment and be careful of politicians who care less about human souls.
