We also need to visit Ghana to see an example of a sane Black Country where people generally follow the rule of law, are held accountable, and the leaders have sense.

I'm sure a comprehensive research will reveal that most Africans are really related after all.

Funny how Nigerian will be quick to praise other peoples country even without been there but will be quick to condemn there own nation at every slight opportunity! And you'll be here shouting there's no job! Why will there be job when you've driven potential investors away constantly by painting your nation black! I really feel sorry for the future of our great country! God bless Nigeria!

I can decide to emigrate to most countries at a drop of a hat but that will be he laysy thing on my mind. Few countries out there attract me for any reason including holidaying, however I am the harshest critic of Nigeria and Nigerians you can find around. Patriotism is having your country at heart and having a deep seated desire to see her prosper. For a country more often down than up it involves telling the truth no matter how bitter it is.

So, once again, this country and the way it is structured can never develop. And I mean it. There is no way we can fundamentally and sustainably improve with the way our people think and act presently.

Nice one but since we have been and are still praising our country. Truth is truth no matter how you paint it. Nigeria needs internal healing.

Let my wife go check soon. She is visiting

While she's there she should visit my in-laws at JamRock Ghana on jungle road in East Legon.

Bigger and nicer than ours and has live entertainment and a bar. It is THE spot for Jamaicans in Ghana.

Oh absolutely. It is almost certain that the first human parents (Adam and Eve) were black.

I was referring to more recent genetic relationship among Africans especially in west Africa.

I was in Ghana in 2013.
Just 1st week of September this year (2018), I was back in Ghana for a week programme, Cape Coast in particular.
I decided to embark on adventure by going by road, armed myself with my passport and Yellow paper.
1st. From Benin republic border the road is very good through Togo thro Accra to Cape coast.
It is Nigeria territory that is filled with potholes
2nd. There is constant light throughout the journey and throughout my stay in Ghana.
3rd. As a result of good light, their economy runs 24/7 in many places
4th. The gendarms in Togo and benin, customs, immigration and police in Ghana are courteous throughout the journey.
5th. They are more conscious of their environment. Therefore, most places are very neat.
6th. It is now #75.00 to 1 cedis.
7th At Benin, it is #1 to 1.50 cfa. E.g. #1000 to 1,500cfa.
8th. However, food, mobile network, and other utilities are relatively cheaper in Nigeria. Petrol and diesel is 2.94 cedis per litre. E.g. 70 litres = 205 cedis = #15,435
9th. There is peace and security.
10th. Both leaders and followers are patriotic and ready to develop their country.

yes we really relate.. That is why Kwame Nkrumah proposed in his speech that we should not separate the boundaries between us, he wanted one command, one currency, one unity etc.. He had the foresight..

No African country can really make great strides unless it carries the rest along. Whether we like it or not our destinies in Africa are joined irrevocably. So I see as silly all these rivalry among countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya etc.

Insulting Kenyans and Ghanaians that they are black is ludicrous. Apart from the fact that black is absolutely beautiful, that is the identity of the African.

And other African countries insulting Nigeria with her numerous challenges is very myopic. Nigeria is best suited to lead Africa out if the woods to become a Continent that people see as Paradise because of her huge human resources.

Until Africans see themselves as brothers, we will keep roaming in the wilderness.

i do not quite agree with you, if we must develop at least in a western standard, i mean if Africa will wish to occupy her position among the develop nations of the world. We must offend ourselves.

We have been to kind to each other for so long , it is only when we offend each other that we can canalized that offense to move mountain.

This is how Europe as a continent succeed. UK just voted out of Europe. Switzerland has never been part ,Germany use to dominate EU.All this are changing...

This is how China succeeded in taking out about 800 million of her citizens out of poverty. They can't depend on other fellow Asians.

I understand your point. I am looking at the bigger picture here. If Ghana becomes as developed as the United States today what do you think will happen? The Yorubas have a saying that a single rich man in the midst of a hundred poor people is also a poor person.

How long do you think it will take Nigerians and other Africans to migrate en masse to Ghana and saturate it with their own culture of lack of self discipline that has made it difficult for them to develop their own countries. Keep in mind that we are on the same continent so going there will be easy as pie.

Already they are about 5 million Nigerians in Ghana (the figure is unofficial)and I practically think it is not healthy for Ghana struggling economy. There shouild be check and balance.

America become the most powerful nations today because it has one of the most strictest visa requirement, you can't just penetrate America even if you are from negbouring Mexico.

America visa requirement is designed only to accommodate healthy citizens of similar country such as Canada and western Europe. They are aware of potential threat citizens of under developed nation in their soil if given the freedom.

It will amaze you north Korea citizens can not easily penetrate South Korea but little far Japan has no difficulty entering South Korea.

E get as this thread be undecided Is this irony, a joke, a test, a gambit by someone trying to find an original prod to elicit yet another polemic on Nigeria? You know, similar to how women bent on nagging a man who has covered all the bases begins by drawing the man into conversation with an unrelated issue before springing the nag-trap!

Upon all the hating those treacherous nationals of Ghana have heaped on your heads shocked

...anyway, since Nigerians appear to be too forgiving and kind-hearted perhaps Nature herself will avenge them, perhaps by strengthening the resolve of Ghana authorities so that they decree that all Nigerians should leave Ghana and then we too will be forced to retaliate then we'll find out which of the two nations have more of the other's nationals as residents.
