Tinubu had issues with Fashola but had no choice than to support Fashola for a 2nd term.

Tinubu and Fashola's camp are in a long term battle for the control of APC in Lagos but even those camps are united in their dislike for Ambode and you think Buhari would intervene ?


Why would he want to create enemies for himself?

What's Abuja's business with what happens in Lagos? In all political parties, the governor's control party structure in the state except Lagos that runs a tight ship led by Tinubu.

Why would Abuja want to do anything that would push The Southwest APC to make a deal with the PDP?

Nigerian politics is all about self interest so what would Abuja offer Lagos APC in exchange for their support?

The PDP needs all the help they can get next year and any misstep by Buhari pushes the South West APC towards the PDP.

Ambode problems started when he believed he only needs Tinubu's support to win.
Tinubu is the public face of the APC Southwest's cabal. Those in the Lagos echelon of the party told Tinubu he's on his own of he decides to support Ambode, that's why Tinubu hasn't supported Sanwo Olu publicly.

The reason why Tinubu has lasted this long, is because he's not a dictator like he's portrayed to be.

Anyway, you can believe what you want.
