Why Can't Ambode Set Up His Own APC Secretariat In Lagos Like Magnus Abe ? by TechCapon(op): 3:15pm On Oct 01, 2018

There's a popular saying that says, if you're not brave enough nobody will back you up.
I believe the major reason almost all major stakeholders are against Ambode is because they see him as a weakling compared to the looming gigantic figure of Tinubu. They feel if they support him, he may chicken out and jeopardize their own political future. Otherwise there's no way LGA chairmen who are receiving monthly allocation from him will dump him at the 11th hour like this, it's not possible.

Why can't he do what Magnus Abe did to Amaechi in Port Harcourt?

We all know ambode has the full support of the FG. Why can't he just set up his own parallel APC secretariat like what we have in Port harcourt ? Appoint his own state party chairman and his let his own delegates run his own governorship primaries in which he will be declared winner? Then Lagos can have two APC aspirants just like we have Tonye Cole and Magnus Abe in Port Harcourt. This will put him in a position to fight it out in court or finally make the Sanwo guy to step down due to pressure? He can't be impeached for refusing to step down, not with federal backup and the constitution on his side.

Political experts on Nairaland, is there something wrong with my suggestion ? Constructive criticism pls

hmmm. Thanks for your clarification but I thought in the constitution, there are impeachable offenses like looting etc. It's not like he is dumping the party

Are you sure those signature are for the purpose of impeachment. There are many reasons for writing names and signing. My brother's name is on that list yet he is in support of the Governor.

We all only speak based on what we know. Lagos has a well-informed minds. Any action against Ambode now will be seen as persecution. They can not impeach Ambode without a cause. Not even at this moment when all politicians are trying to garner votes for themselves.
Ambode is an accountant and knows a lot about who and who is collecting Lagos money, the same way he knows where to block. It will be difficult to impeach him on something of substance. Lagos politics is quite different from Naija politics.

if not for the party he is fighting he sure wont have won if he contested to be the Local Government Chairman of his Local Government in EPE .Those that risk it all to make him Governor are the once he offended .

People supporting ambode are dirty minded, why people thinking ambode was short changed? Ambode and wife trampled on common man, no one is talking about that, all people talking are giving support to ambode, thinking their support for ambode is a vote against Tinubu. Tinubu gave ambode what no man can ever give him, but he messed it up, he has been tested but not good enough. why are people so envious of Tinubu? The man only got his plans right and things are falling in place for him.
