why haven't I still gotten MIUI 10 update on my redmi 5 plus? I heard it has been rolled out but I still see on my SYSTEM UPDATER is MIUI 9.5.

On ur files, if you backed them up to mi cloud, log in to your mi account to retrieve them.

I'll advise you not to lock the device if you have the intention of tracking it. It'll make the tracking very difficult. kiss

I have a problem with rooting Redmi 5 plus and flash twrp now, am confused. I am supposed to enable OEM after bootloader unlocked. Now it can't be enabled as seen on the screenshot. It can't be enabled despite showing that bootloader unlocked. What can I do? I don't want to continue because I don't know the implications.

Your bootloader is unlocked, what do you mean by enable OEM? Did you try flashing twrp and you were unsuccessful?

From what i read howto . I haven't tried flashing twrp. I mean if I try it, hope it can't get stock even if unsuccessful. That's my main question. Hope unsuccessful attempt won't brick . Thanks.

I think,the way miui works,u av to update to 9.5 first then refresh for the miui 10,

Its a compact phone,thou narrow,but shld feel comfortable for one hand use,
