Two young Nigerian stars in the shape of Philip Billing and Ebere Eze have won the Player of the Month awards at their respective clubs.

Billing has been one of Nigeria's most outstanding players in the Premier League so far this season and Blue and White Foundation members voted the central midfielder as Huddersfield Town’s September 2018 Player of the Month.

A Denmark U21 international, he was picked ahead of Chris Löwe when the votes were counted.

Billing is the fourth top tackler in the Premier League, an honour he shares with Leicester City duo Wilfred Ndidi and Ricardo Pereira, with 26 successful tackles made.

The 22-year-old is the Terriers second top passer after making 287 successful passes.

A division below, former Super Eagles invitee Ebere Eze,20, has been voted Queens Park Rangers September Player of the Month following a string of impressive displays.

The attacking midfielder scored 2 goals in 5 Championship appearances last month which helped QPR record wins against Bolton Wanderers and Millwall.
Na so these players go take pass us?

Anytime I see G. Donnaruma in goal for AC Milan, I wonder what story would have been concocted for him to despise his true age.

Me I have stopped engaging folks on age cheating discourse. They are hell bent on pulling any Nigerian down.

They never say anything yet. Let the likes of Chukwueze, Orji, etc get their call ups. We go hear different stories.
As far as I am concerned Donnaruma is never 19 years.

Europeans are also age cheat also, not only Africa and South America

EPL is a joke an they reached the final last season. What a joke!

Real Madrid no chop am yesterday? grin
So reaching the final is winning the trophy ?

Liverpool could not beat Sevilla in Europa league final .

Sevilla won Europa league 3 times in a roll and Madrid did the same in champions league ,it seems epl team didn't participate in the competition during those period .

Burnley could not even make it to the group stage of the Europa league through the playoff

West ham also failed to make it to the Europa league playoff for 2 seasons loosing to a back water league club.

thanks for this

Lagos is the only state, aside Abuja, where University admission is not based on cachment area. What happened to indigenes there too? In the next hundred years, who will occupy Lagos? The indigenes of Lagos don't make up 15% of the population.

Those omoniles you speak of are not even indigenes, they are settlers like most of the people in Lagos. Lagos and Abuja are distinctly different from every other state in Nigeria, the only other state close to them is PH.

As far as I am concerned, Lagos has transcended tribal affiliations. It belongs to everybody and belongs to nobody. It was built by the blood and sweat of all Nigerians from all walks of life and all erhnicities, so, it is an injustice to omit those people, some spanning three generations, from Lagos, and refer to them as non-indigenes. And no, contrary to popular belief, the day Nigeria scatters, some people that are referred to as 'non-indigenes' will not have a hometown to go to, because their entire lives are in Lagos
Agreed without reservation

Lagos isn't a no man's land!!
Lagos has a history long before Nigeria was created just like other Nigerian cities... The Aworis were the originally settlers in Lagos and they are Yorubas.. The Yorubas are the major tribe in Lagos...
Lagos just happen to be the most prosperous city in Nigeria and is thus open to everybody. If u say Lagos is a no man's land because of the ethnic diversity, then what will u call London, new York, Paris and the likeshuh
The historical foundation of a city doesn't determine it's growth or present continous demographic composition.

Obama is essentially an African but became the President of the USA that's progression.

Peckham at one time was completely dominated by white Caucasian eastenders. Today it's called little Lagos, because there are more Nigerian origin African people there than anybody else.

London is dominated by immigrants the definition of who is a Londoner has evolved. It's not a white guy in a bowler hat.

Go to Miami if you can speak Spanish you ate in the minority. We even have a whole area called little Cuba. The same trend is reflected in Paris, New York and so many other world mega cities.

I would advise you to wake up, download and upgrade people are using Windows 10 and you are still using DOS.

Soon and very soon Nigeria will have progressed with Lagos at the forefront of that progression. That I can see an Igbo man winning the governorship election.

Here's the reply I got on a comment I made on brila FM Facebook page regarding Iheanacho birthday post (d usual age cheat talk from Nigerians)

I'm a bit surprised.. is it possible??

tbaba1234 icon4s TheSuperNerd TheGoodJoe Komekn and other MRI experts on the thread, kindly shed more light on it....
That is OVER EXAGGERATED.

Yes it's not absolutely accurate but indicative but the margin of error will never allow a 25 year old to masquerade as U17.

Shaving off a few years is possible at most 3 -5 depending physiological make up, environment, nutrition, etc. In my opinion.

Since the NFF introduced compulsory testing it had reduced the total abuse of the system.

Even if KC were to have cut his age he is still quite clearly a young man.

To call Lagos a no man's land is just an unnecessary attempt to rile people up. No matter how few the first settlers are compared to the current population, they are still the landowners. The case of calling 3rd generation descendants in a place non-indigenes is not peculiar to Lagos, it is the same all over Nigeria, there are people who were born in Ife, Onitcha, Kano, Benin in the 40s and 50s, their grandkids cant lay claim to being indigenes, what clan would you say you are from, the indigenes would promptly tell you how modern your history is in their place. As long as an indigene still remains, the land can never be a no man's land.. The American Indians are still accorded their respect as landowners despite their decimation and political castration, they are still called first Nation or Native Americans, this is to acknowledge the fact that they are the original landowners. Every Land you buy in Nigeria including Lagos has documents that acknowledges the original indigenous settlers as owners and any transfer of such land often involves these same families and the authenticity of your document is not complete without the evidence of original sale from these families. How can someone who has documents attesting to such ownership in his wardrobe then turn around and say he is living in no man's land...haba.
Despite the cosmopolitaness of London or England as a whole, the original indigenes are still acknowledge, you cant be a duke or lord if you are a 3rd or 10th generation british citizen, they wont ever bestow it on you.
If you are a british citizen, your rights as a citizen is well protected and respected according to the constitution, but you cant go and tell the lords and dukes that england is no mans land or because onitcha or benin is populated majorly by people from other parts of the east or west and then you go and say before the Obi of Onitcha, or Oba of Benin and other ancient families that Onitcha or Benin is no man's land, they can take off your head. Likewise in Lagos, your right should be protected as a citizen but dont because you have bought acres of land in Oniru or Ajah and then you go and meet Oniru, or Elegushi or Olumegbon that his domain is a no man's land. Such behavior wont be accepted in Lagos, Benin, Ife, Kano, Onitcha, Warri or London.

Those Omoniles causing havoc all over the place might not be from Lagos, but i tell you they are acting on behalf of one baale or oba, whose families can be traced hundreds of years to these places. All major towns in Lagos have what they call 'orile', the most popular Oriles are Orile Iganmu and Orile Agege, but all other towns have their oriles and if you know any of these oriles, that is where the most rundown ramshackled, ancient mud house and shrines are located. The oriles are the places where the indigenes first settled and their you will see the ancestral homes, idols, shrines of all the original settlers, all the masquerade houses are generally located in these areas, the sacrifices and festivals and oros are still managed by hereditary families. Propitiatory sacrifices are still been done in all major towns and villages in Lagos, how many Hausa man or Igbo or idoma man is part of these initiates. How many non-indigene has been honored with an Eyo burial festival
With all these structures still in place, the families managing them still very much in force etc, it would just be mere pontificating for a 3rd generation settler to tell these people, their land is no man's land. Let him try and destroy their shrine nah, or become the custodian of the shrine nah.
If we are talking to rile people up or get under their skin, it is understandable but to actually believe some what we say are true is baffling. Every Nook and Cranny in Lagos has its landowners and they are still very much in charge of their domain.
You are dreaming.

Once you have sold your land you have sold your inherent rights of rulership. Your holding on desperately to historical relics that have no relevance in modern society.
