When Saraki knows how popular Senator Rafiu Adebayo is in the Kwara South as almost every notable stake holders in the party endorsed Rafiu to represent Kwara south in the senate for second term, but due to so many shady deals Saraki have had with Fatai Ahmed who happens to be his Commissioner for Finance 8yrs when Saraki was Kwara state Governor, and rewarded him with the Governor seat for 8yrs, Saraki moves on the demote a serving Senator Rafiu who just spent 4years in the Red Chamber to state house of assembly to represent Oke-Ogun constituency of Oyun Local Government in the state, in order to pave way for the current Governor who also came from Share local government of Kwara South, the decision that does not go well with the supporter of the Senator.

But due to the veto power of Saraki dynasty that no one under his leadership can challenge.

Reason for this disgraceful act is based on the popularity of Senator Rafiu in Kwara south which will be a major set back for Saraki, therefore Saraki insist that Senator Rafiu must be on the Ballot by all cost and the only available position to smuggle Rafiu in is to represent Oke-Ogun constituency at the state house of Assembly and equally reward him with the post of Speaker of the State House of Assembly.
